Imagine this scene...old chap with glasses..sees two men standing on the right, flashes of white, the wardens. I said "I might need you later to subdue one of the staff". Laughs all round not.
Do me DTD shopping, occasionally see flashes of bright white uniform at the end of the aisles.
Keep dodging about checking prices, looking at list, putting things back etc, like you do.
Get to the counter, got talking to an old chap and his wife. "He's sufferin' today, 'e is. Arthritis"
Perhaps his name is Arthur. Anyway the male SA puts the goods through, didn't understand voucher. I instructed him what to do. He still not sure. Arthur getting worse.
The supervisor comes, all of 12 years old, flash of white hovering not far away.
She wanted my clubcard. No I said, they track you with that. Any other form of identity, so I shows her me bus pass.
The bell rings for her elsewhere. "Scan it" she shouts and runs off.
I apologise to Arthurs wife. Tell the guards to stand down. Catch the bus.
    A good day out.

Sorry if this has been asked millions of times but have looked at quite a few pages and am still not sure. Is this the right page for the updated spreadsheet -

    https://spreadsheets0.google.com/pub?hl=en&hl=en&key=0ArDxW2XgVnGjdEd6Q0IxMVVBbF84VjNZWUdOeEdjblE&single=true&gid=4&output=html

    (sorry cant do links)
And also can someone just explain the various colour coding for each item. Would really appreciate help - sorry to be a pain!

Please read through the info in post 2 and then come back if you are still not sure

LOL dont worry soon you will running out of space to buy things.

The thing is, when I go there I know I want several things but have to prioritise my list to just the one voucher, and of course make sure I am buying different items from the last receipt incase they say I am abusing the spirit of the promotion.

Would love to do two vouchers per shop but I know security would treat me like a shoplifter for suspicious behavior.

This is why I spend alot of time making lists and trying to figure out what on earth to buy... :rotfl:

I'm new to this DTD thing so apologies if what I'm about to ask is a bit dim. I'm looking at the spreadsheet and can see lots of stuff where I could make a profit e.g. Tesco Strawberries (Mr T £3, Asda £1, DTD £4). Is there anything that would stop me buying just strawberries or any other offer where I'd make a profit then claim the DTD. If it's against the rules or simply not the done thing I'd like to know. I'm not planning on only buying these kinds of items but there are a few profit making items I'd like to stock up on but need to know if I have to buy non-profit items as well.

Also, I have a £10 off £40 Sainsburys voucher. Do Tesco accept these (a quick search suggests yes) and should I use the voucher on a DTD receipt?

Many thanks for humouring me on this.

thats fine on both accounts, but obviously you need to spend £40 for the spend and save. HTH

Went into my Mr T last night, and the 'T.Beef Top Side Top Rump Silverside Joint Medium' all had 'half price' stickers on them, which I presume makes them the same price as Mr A. Shame, as I was going to expand my horizons from Lynx & Finish tablets to meat today. :-/

What I have done for the spreadsheet is I took a copy of the url , posted it to my own email address, then every time I want to look at it , i just find my email, copy and paste the url on to a new web page, when loaded, press refresh, so it is up to date. I dont know if that will help you at all.

A lot of us use profit only items to bump up a low value voucher into a higher one.

Use the with profit items as you suggest to offset against buying items N/A of price matched at Mr A. remember that its off your total shop! and the max voucher value is capped at £20.00

Some stores accept Mr S vouchers others dont....mine don't :(

(wasnt a huge problem, bought a lot of non DTD stuff)
Clearly they [Tesco] found it hard to make a promise they couldn't keep." Asda Spokesperson.

I say Tesco found it EASY to make promises it still cannot keep.

Hiya, the Price Check website says it's all on groceries, so I don't think so. I wish it would, the vouchers and shopping lists are hammering my print levels! If anyone's had anything confirmed I'm sure they'll let us know soon.
