Tesco/Asda Pricechecker Thread - part 5

quick question. I am planning to spend some of my own money today (dont worry not much)
say my shopping comes to just over £40 can i use a Pricecheck voucher along side a £6 off when you spend 40 or more till spit voucher and then say mabies a few £2 off nappys vouchers...
Also think i would be pushing it if i used a £5 off 30 spend co-op voucher as well
Thanks just planning my days shopping
I dont see any issues with that at all.. I have used the voucher in the finish and from the papers successfullyClearly they [Tesco] found it hard to make a promise they couldn't keep." Asda Spokesperson.
I say Tesco found it EASY to make promises it still cannot keep.0 -
if you dont like what i put then add me to your ignore list, dont make no odds to me
but why should i pipe down when everyone else brings it up ???
Moonie, the problem is that you just keep going on and on about it ! (as do one or two others soI am not singling you out). There is a lot of sense in some of what you say but you are wasting your breathe.
I think that its broadly agreed that everyone on here who is doing targetted shops, using the SS to select bargains , using multiple email addys and ficticious relatives etc to get round the £100 cap is bending the T & Cs in a very major way! I don't think anyone can possibly dispute that. Many, if not most, people see the re-using of a receipt which the SA hasn't signed as an infraction of a higher order though - a bit like using a £20 note that we know is a forgery (we've had that discussion before). I know that argument isn't 100% valid but the majority see it that way.
I can't see the point of going on and on about the F word - its probably more accurate to term it major abuse of the T&Cs as opposed to the minor abuse that most of us are involved in. Nobody is going to win the is 'it/isn't it' fraud argument and we might as well just get on with our own methods of screwing Tesco in accordance with our own feelings.
I don't agree with the arguments that Tesco is fleecing us so why shouldn't we fleece them back - we all know we are being as devious as hell so we might as well admit it and stop trying to put the blame for our deviousness on Tesco.ELITE 5:2

just do what most of us do take a family member who lives in the shed down the bottom of the garden.
that reminds me to buy some containers for that shed as there is no room left in my kitchen
Oh no no no, see hubby would need a full briefing on the dtd, as he doesn't quite grasp what is included, he said to me yesterday as they are doing the dtd on bathroom cleaning stuff this week can you get cloths too? See... I think he doesn't quite understand so it's easier to go on my own.
I do take dd with me as she is a great distraction especially if she is having a whinge, I find most SA's prefer not having to listen to a toddler who is bored sitting in a trolly :rotfl:Comping wishlist for 2017

Lexmark 36 Blk T £18.97 A £17.00 DTD £3.94 Cost £15.03
Lexmark 37 Col T £21.97 A £17.97 DTD £8.00 Cost ££13.97

Apologies for earlier post re: cod loin. Although the guy at the counter said it was £18 per kilo (I got there before they put the prices out) it actually says £15 per kilo on the label. So not such a good deal but still brilliant - if it works!
Won't a higher price in Tesco means a better deal??
18/kg makes the cod loin free!!! After DTD that is
Unless you meant the actual price is 15/kg instead of 18/kg that the guy told you.... mmm0 -

We've probably all got 'ideas' but I can't really see the point of getting concerned about it - there is often no obvious reason for delays, times, arrival/non arrival etc. Tesco do it when they think they will and I'm past sitting here working myself up about it all.
They might come today or possibly not - there have been past problems over even normal weekend voucher issues so its in the lap of the gods:DELITE 5:2

The trick there, if you are stockpiling items (and who isn't? :rotfl:) is to have 2 lists and alternate between them, so, for example, I will stockpile shower gel on shops 1,3 and 5, and stockpile dishwasher gubbins on shops 2 and 4.
Of course, if you're bending the rules by having multiple email accounts (not that I can believe anyone would ever do that, oh no no no no no!) you can just alternate this list between 2 accounts
See this is what I am aiming for, food shop with visit 1, 3 and 5 and toiletries/household products with shops 2,4 and 6. But I perhaps should bring another voucher into play, maybe up the fun of the game and allow hubby to use it on predetermined lists that must be stuck to to the letterComping wishlist for 2017

I was about to head to Mr Ts to get a bottle of the vsop courvoisier brandy @ 30.99 70 cl but it is no longer on the spreadsheet yet the prices are still different, can anyone confirm it is now a n.a?

I was daft enough to but on my second shop excatley the same things, though they were 6 days apart. I don't think I'm going to tempt that anymore, now some of them are getting a bit funny. Think the alternating thing is brilliant.0 -
