im avoiding my 'work store' as today when i went in it didnt feel right like i was paranoid id get called to CS then a security guard started watching me from bottom of alise then walked all the way up the alise so i just didnt shop n left the store empty handed.think they may be spotting i go in every lunch - well 3/5days
im starting to use DTD less now it is very time consuming and it consumes your whole thoughts.... like constantly online checking this and the spreadsheet then lunch break in tesco....
i keep saying il stop altogether but then i think its like someone holding out free £20 notes and im saying no thanks too much effort.
step away from the DTD :rotfl:
thanks to everyone who helps with the spreadsheet and this thread/prices thread:TI am a full time Benefit and Money Adviser for a leading non profit charity and I LOVE my job

just back from Mr T, managed a few shops as DD1, DD2 and DH were frogmarched with a basket of goods to tills armed with vouchers, would love t see the cctv:rotfl::rotfl: Managed to get one rack of lamb as the other 6 were reduced and thought this might mess up DTD so paid full price. An older couple looked at me like I was mad and the old Gentleman even came after me to let me know there were reduced ones as I had a family bless him:A was gonna go explain bout DTD but imagined it would be like when I told my Mum and got nowhere! Out of curiosity racks were reduced from £7 ish to £5 ish, was I daft to leave them:cool::cool: young lad at tills for my daughter (who went very red when he spoke to her, bless!) tried giving voucher and receipt back...........also amount of voucher even though there were goods to be paid for:rotfl: Also wanted to get new printer with voucher exchange but big no no:mad: Back to square one with to get as we usually get all our vouchers at christmas but seems its changed:cool:
if they were reduced to that price, then they would have probably worked out free....you may have got a negative, depending on the exact weight, but only by a few pence.

Have done my first shop (last night) and recieved my first voucher this morning and will be using it tonight
Haven't read through all 5 threads but a good tip would be to have your list made up ready with substitute items (i'm sure this has already been said) but also for Android users to download a calculator widget and put one calculator for cost of shop on one homescreen and one calculator for DTD on the next homescreen (this works on my HTC Desire) that way if you're forced into substituting items you won't need to do the math in your headIt is for Android phones only.Savvybunny2009 wrote: »HTC runs windows, not android which is what the app was made for.
Blinkin HTCs, have a HTC HD2 which refuses to load anymore, guess that's windows for you, what if Tesco made smartphones eh?
thanks knew i didn;t know what i was talking about ~(i thought i did have an android phone:o), glad i gave up now!
tesco smart phone would probably be easier, wonder if tesco cs would have any suggestions if i phoned and had a winge that i can't get an auto dtd calculator to work on my phone:p. or the least they could do is have wifi (or let me get a signal) so i could open the ss while i'm in there.:)0 -
