No one has had any luck with the Scottish beef it has not been confirmed as far as I have seen. The codes do not match either, I have a lovely joint in the freezer, but DTD free : ( In other words, expensive.

So annoyed at myself as i wrote down the codes but typically as i do got so excited when i seen it i forgot to read all the text and check the barcode. Oh well wont go to waste.

if they were reduced to that price, then they would have probably worked out free....you may have got a negative, depending on the exact weight, but only by a few pence.

    regards,

    lamb expert.

Brain was confuzzled after DD1 and DD2 asking to use up wee vouchers i.e anything under £20 even if it was £17ish, eh I think not:rotfl: still a bargain at full price so kinda glad I left them;)

After my boo boo buying the sausages today I've got to buy some dishwasher tablets tomorrow to recoup some of my loss.
Nearly didn't get the sausages, only did because there is no beef in any local stores as all the big enough bits have been removed as there is beef on offer at the mo.
Really need some more 'proper' food...bought the 3G 1.81kg of chips today (I have a chest freezer) and I felt rubbish doing it.
Oooh for a decent offer on quorn, or salad, or Kellogs fibre plus!
If my words are missing letters then please excuse me....my keyboard is a tad dodgy!!

    Interesting Reply from Tesco

The strange thing is that in the end the store will no longer sign new receipt!

I wonder if that will be the new rule, that if you used a voucher and the receipt that matches that voucher and shows a coupon they will refuse it. If that is the case the price check is rubbish and not worth shopping with tesco as asda would be still cheaper lol

This sounds similar to the situation that happened to me yesterday, where the manager insisted they had to sign the NEW receipt to prevent me claiming another DTD voucher.

I told them, politely, where they could stick their shopping, and that I would be going to another store.

Wonder if any Edinburgh DTDers can help, have got free tickets to the rugby at Murrayfield on Fri nite and will be coming from Perth way, and back out that way (if that makes sense:rotfl:) where would be the best Tesco to go to, preferably a large one for elecrics but also rack of lamb mmmmm:) Not really road savvy, as bus it through for the 6 nations (and had a fair amount of voddie by then!), but will be driving on Fri. TIA:)
