    Morning all

Still mostly lurking. I have a load of washing out on the line. I've moved stuff back from the kitchen into the living room (I could use the sink over the weekend). Fitter is here again. My freezer was delivered at 8 o'clock this morning so that's in the living room now - I got rid of the washing machine and cooker on Friday and now I've got a freezer instead!

Cats are ensconced upstairs out of the way.

Just waiting for the door lock man to come this morning and then I can stop listening out for the door.

Got dentist appointment for tomorrow for DH who has lost some filling and is busy dosing up on painkillers. Told him not to floss at the back.

Back from dog walk and then ahd a visit from mother which I had forgotten she said she was coming. Luckily it was just to drop off easter eggs for the kids and have a coffee before she goes shopping. Dh gone down the allotment so he's out of the way and I should be able to crack this.

Now going to start on Piggers list - No1 should get DS up out of his pit - lol

I'm in this again this week. Thanks Pigpen. Downstairs and our bedroom are starting to look respectable now. Just need to last through the bathroom/study day...

    Note to self page 3

Decluttered the Vallikids at 4:00 am to the bus down the M1 to Heathrow and the USA - one almost left without the padlock key - but it's a set of padlocks and the keys match;). My mum came with me and I ddi not weep. I do, however, seem to have a rainforest-worth of butterflies in my belly!

NOT impressed by the fact that their flight is UNLISTED on the departures list...

DS's bed stripped. Pillows washed and on the line - duvet in machine.

I plan to wash ALL bedding this week while they are not here so a good start there!
I am also going to dust/vacuum their rooms ;) DD's is not bad though. DS's? well - he's male - nuff said!

I also intend to list lots on e bay (and sell it, I hope)

but shortly I am going to meet up with a friend an go for a hike, with sandwiches.

Basically the plan for this week is

    spring cleaning
    decluttering
    frog munching

OH AND I HAVE MADE THE FINAL PAYMENT ON THE SOFAS!

    KAZWOOKIE
    - well done you!

    THAT'S inspired me with confidence

edit - we've been given flight numbers starting V5

    apparently it's VS

and there's a 90 minute delay - and they have 71 students to keep track of

Thanks for the advice, dusty. He's not seven until May, so I thought it couldn't be that. He's been caring and sensitive as long as I can remember, but more so recently, so you're probably right. Apologising is never a problem and he rarely turns down a hug.

I don't know what's happening to time this morning! Could the person who is responsible for fast forwarding please stop now? :p
  • Hi everyone!

I'm looking forward to my first full week doing the flylady thing- it's made a huge difference in just a few days, and has motivated me to finally sort out the flat! :)

Well, I say full week but we are going away for the Easter weekend on thursday, so it'll be a full week until then! ;)

So far I've managed to do:

Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway
    Level One
Open the windows and turn on some music!

    Vacuum floors and sofas!
Declutter the chairs, floor and fireplace
    Level Two
Vacuum under any furniture you can.. please don't injure yourselves!
    Level Three
    Check those smoke alarms!
    Extras
    1. Catch up on some calls/emails- although I still have over 50 unread messages in both my uni and personal accounts :o
Got a load of uni work to get done today, and then off to work at 6, so I doubt there will be much more flylady action with me today.

Hope everyone has a great start to the week,

    M x
