    Hi everyone,

I'm in again. I missed the end of last week because I did my back in and sciatica meant I couldn't walk for two days. It's much better but I'll be avoiding anything too strenuous. DH is off for two weeks so I'll try to get him to fdo any vaccuuming, mopping etc (flying pigs over Bedfordshire - he's pretty good but likes to think things are his idea so doesn't respond to requests very rapidly).

I hope everyone has a good day.

It got so bad even my DP noticed the dirt and starting cleaning  and he NEVER sees the dirt :D Can I get a slovenly cow award?! :rotfl:

Welcome back, there is a lot of stiff competition for the SC award!

Kazw - well done on the weight loss

kazM - had to laugh about the shower slot, we have the same here but it is more likely to be DS1 missing his slot

I've had my breakfast, fed the two who are up and the cats. Time to eat a frog and then some S&Sing and a shower.

    Morning all

Kazw - you're doing really well with the weight loss. :T
cat - sending you (((hugs))) Many years ago my godmother (mum's cousin) got married on holiday. It was a complete surprise to everyone as she'd always said that she didn't believe in marriage. She was then disappointed because nobody really took notice - we just didn't know how to react!

Thanks to fcc for keeping the thread going. I didn't made it back online yesterday. After decluttering lots of hours (and still not finishing the task I'd started :() we got to tea-time and I hadn't even started to think about food. DS2 asked if we could go to McD's - he'd been really good all day, so we did. Then I did a bit more work before going out with DH for the evening.

I was up a lot later than planned today, so will have to re-plan my day. Will post a list in a bit (after looking at frogs and daily plate).

Could also do with some advice re DS2 (almost 7). He very rarely cries, but has recently started to become upset and close to tears very quickly. Thanks.

Still nice and bright here, so must turf DS1 out of bed so he can sort the rest of his laundry for me! :D

Plan for the week (not necessarily in that order):
laundry - just waiting for last few bits from DS2 - towels in
    DW - it's on
    get DS1 up - WIP
make DS1 tidy space at bottom of loft stairs
    school stuff - WIP
    HW with DS2
phone hairdresser re missed appt last week :o
    [STRIKE]phone hotel re DH's reunion weekend - booked[/STRIKE]
car stuff (please fling fluffy mule if this is still on the list by teatime) - can't do anything until friend is back on Wednesday
    bake a cake or two
    lunch
    tea
sort through DS2's clothes to see what he still needs
find out when friend's son is going back to turkey so I can bake twinks for him to take
phone new vet to make appt for small cat, who is still with us :D
    sort Mt Everest-sized filing mountain

Have signed up for Daily Plate (Thank you for providing the link - I can't remember who mentioned it!) and looked at the frog clip. I accept the principle, but my 'frogs' often have to be eaten at a particular time later in the day or they are jobs too big to be done first thing in the morning. Am I just making excuses? :o

Morning everyone, and thanks for the thread

No work for me today :j:j:j:j

KazW - that is an impressive weight loss, hope the BP matches up. It made a huge difference to mine.

mummyroys - Hoovers, do you have pets? I have Henry for the building works but he is useless at dog hair. I also have a Dyson that the dog hair has just killed the beater bar thingy - it is under warrantty but last time they refused because of the building works. Vague plans for a Miele Pet one but at £220 it is rather painful. Previously had a Hoover, but their customer service when it died after six months was appalling.

pavlovsdog - good to see you back, also a SC.

Toots - I am sure your border will soon be sorted but in the meantime you have the fun of seeing what will come up.

Triker - I want the Frogs too

    Things that need doing today:
    • more bike practice for the boys - we live on a hill so we have to go somewhere flat
    • Inland Revenue letter for H - still paying tax on a company car we haven't had since September!
    • Get dog food and dishwasher tablets
    • Go through the boys clothes and get rid of the too small stuff

Morning all, i'm back in this week. Didn't get much done yesterday except sort through the boys socks and pj's. Plus i gave 3 people a haircut, Rhys is now minus his curles and looks like a completely different boy. :rotfl:

    Plan today
    1) Clear back hall.
    2) Fix front door.
    3) Clear garden of rubbish, broken toys.
    4) Put tent away.
    5) Mow all gardens.
    6) Clean outside of windows.
    7) Fill car with tip run stuff.
    8) Cut old carpet for car.
    9) Tighten washing lines.
    10) Go through boys wardrobe.
    11) Get some sticks cut.
    12) Brush up paths.
    13) Weed said paths.
    14) Do some baking.
    15) Spend HHC in our bedroom.

It seems alot but i've an extra 3 wee ones and they lost a bet yesterday and have to do everything i ask today. :rotfl:

skintscotslass, Rhys seems to be coming round again. He's eating abit better now and in a better mood.
juliejim hope your feet get better soon.
kazwookie well done on the weightloss.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    in my HHC I:
    cleared the work tops.
    Made coffee.
put away the washing up that was left out last night.
    filled the DW
did the big dishes - including moulie doofer, great mash tater, hell to clean!
wiped down the worktops and a bit of the hob.
Was watching the chooks out the kitchen window. The light sussex is trying to get in to charlie, dig her way under the pens. Little cow bag. Well at least she's not shouting about it now.

Eaten my frog th_jumpingfrogsmilie.gif and it wasn't as distasteful as I had expected. Off to the shower now.

MrsChaos - hormones. I have it with DS3 (just turned 9) especially when he has been told off, something is a bit sad, I think they are just starting to experience a bit of empathy, greater range of feelings. Don't squash it and offer hugs, I find they are often refused at that time but lapped up minutes later and we have even reached the stage of apologizing later for misdemeanours.
