Can I just throw all these socks away and buy new?

yes, I did. Then I bought DS1 ten identical black pairs, and DS2 ten matching grey pairs, and so on. Worked for us. Huge stealer of time matching socks and a job I resent.

MrsC - I know exactly what you mean  Can we not just go to the park all by ourselves please, never mind a week away

We (roll eyes) have been to Ikea and got a cheap Lack coffee table for lego making purposes, this will hopefully help with the tidying of the playroom. If it ever assembles itself.

    Thank you all lovely flyladies:happylove

I did this to OH head :EasterBun flounced off to town, enjoyed a couple of hours peace; bought two t-shirts in Debenhams 20% off - plus a few other bits for xmas/shirts for OH/bargin jumper for DS1 came home.

Spoke more calmly to OH and like SSL and Crafty said it was his sis who put him up to it. DS1 says he doesn't ask OH to help so it's not his fault.

Made sure I was calm before making the spelt bread - cross hands ruin it;)

Kids all had lunch so time to look on ebay for some pond plants and then a cuppa

ETA Mrs Chaos hope things defrost soon x

Well my HHC ended up 45 mins, but hey ho, the bathroom is nearly done. Need to find my massive list and update. Oh and for all of you enjoying the sun, it has only just burnt off the haar! It feels about 10 degrees though and I cant imagine my washing drying any time soon, boo!

OH has been over and dug me a vegetable patch, :j so we've planted the potatoes and done some weeding.

I've also put the wm on again, brought 1 load in and put 2 loads out. My pile doesn't really seem to be getting any smaller.

I'm having a coffee and then am going to tackle the kitchen, it's a right mess, then i'm going to finish unpacking and give the living room a good tidy.

I ice skate as part of an adult group, and I'm sorry to say, falling over is a part of it, until your muscles learn to cope with the newness of what you're asking them to do. Falling over "properly" is a good thing to learn ie. try to stay fairly relaxed when you're doing it... not easy I know, but you fall "harder" when tense.
I know several skaters (all men oddly enough) who wear skateboard padding on their elbows and knees under their clothes. It's fairly un-noticable, and easy to get hold of, and might help your DS2. Which rink is he learning at? It's truly an exhilirating fun sport, and I hope he continues with it, I know the enjoyment I've got from it, once you're over the first hurdle.
ETA. Day three can sometimes be a "tired" day when you're doing a week long camp. You get your second wind day 4. If he's sore, then hot, then cold water alternated can really help the muscle pain, as can the off ice warm ups, and stretches he'll (hopefully) be getting at the beginning and end of the day.

Thanks Sockdrawer day 2 he refused to go on ice until given a peguin to balance with and for last 10 mins he skated well. Day 3 He had penguin for the warmup then again when he lost his confidence. Day 4 (Today) Clung on to a coach for dear life so was allowed penguin again. Skating behind it was brilliant. It is such a pity he hurt himself on the 1st day. He has one thing signed off on his level 1 and I'm so proud. He said he would like to go again next week. DS2 passed level 1 & and has 1 thing signed off on level 2. We tried to sign him up to a 6 week course but rink (Sutton in Ashfield) is too far away for us to make it there at 4pm on school night.

My aim is for my foot & back to get better so I can go on the ice too.

Back to flying I am not up to date with thread as DH is now on holiday too.

I have done 2xwm not much else today so could do with doing a HHC 3pm any one fancy joining me?
