Which reservoir are you going to Max?
Hex - have you read Harlan Coben?
Dh is off today so not sure what we're doing yet but we're on about going somewhere later and then we're meeting some friends at Taybarns at 4.30.
He hasn't noticed my new glasses yet which I picked up yesterday - don't know whether to ask if he likes them or to see if he ever notices them.
Cheap - hope everything goes well at the hospital next week.
Sexy - hope you have a wonderful time tonight.
Have a good day all
Hugs

Had a lovely evening out, meal with former colleagues then theatre - so lots of chat and laughter - now got a slightly rough throat:rotfl:
Don't think I need to worry about sunburn today - hope it's brighter with toots.
Need to wind up the elastic - had a couple of unproductive days.0 -
Morning all
Bristling and tearful is the best way to describe me today!
OH has p!ssed me off big time. Turns out nephew is visiting because he wants OH to go through his cv with him and hand it in to OH work. OH has never helped with our boys homework, shown no interest in DS1 and choosing a uni or anything. Nephew has never once sent a thank you note for birthday or Christmas presents/money. Am I being selfish and acting like a child?
Also dreamt of my Dad last night, that rarely happens and always leaves me sad. He still had cancer in my dream and was out of my reach.
So I've dutifully made the cake and I am off to the shower and then going out into town on my own for as long as I want to or else I am so going to say something.
So sorry to moan but needed to off load. Have a good day.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning everyone..
Decided to get up before DH this morning so I could tackle the ironing before he comes downstairs and starts grumbling at the finished ironing taking over the table.. Men!!
It's a beautiful day here, lovely and sunny, and one load of washing is on the line already. I even heard one of my neighbours mowing their lawn at 7.30am while I was hanging the washing out. Maybe they were taking advantage of it being nice and cool..
Garden birds all fed, Mr and Mrs Dove were sitting on the fence waiting for me. As soon as I put their food in the feeder they crawled into the bird house and started munching away..bless them. Mr and Mrs Blackbird are hoovering up the seed on the ground as I type, and the newly wedded robin couple are happily bombing around getting mealworms and suet. Woody is still on his own, poor thing. Seems he has upset his mate for some reason as she hasn't been seen for a few days. Oh and the normal amount of starling and sparrows are happy as they have their own bowl of seed now.. Not that it stops them trying it on and trying to pinch the doves food.. Not a good idea..lol Oh and Woody has a tendency to boink any bird on the head if they get too close to him.. I'm waiting for him to do that to one of the dogs one day..:rotfl::rotfl:
Not too sure what I am up today as DH is around, he might want to
go and visit a garden centre or something I don't know. Yet saying that he might even want to just stay indoors..:eek:
Dusty hugs honey, I don't think you are being unreasonable at all. I would feel exactly the same if it was me. Have a lovely time on your own, and do something nice for yourself. Even if it means spending a little money, you deserve it sweetie.
Hugs and love to everyone, and lots of spoons, especially to LL, Toots, LW and anyone else that wants them.

Thanks for the reminder KazW - I had a very rare visit to mrT yesterday, so I shall try later.
JJ/SSL - I haven't read either of those so two more to look out for
No major plans for today, I suspect everyone else will be SOADFA and I find it very hard to motivate myself at that point.
I must hoover, and deal with the inevitable washing mountain. I also want to make hot cross buns and a birthday cake for SS2, and I must work out when the turkey needs to start defrosting.
Natty - we have a robin couple too, lovely to watch
Dusty - hope retail therapy helps? I saw a lovely white wisteria just strating to flower for £40 the other day and I was so very tempted. If I get cross enough today I may go and buy it.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
