  • Sorry, Piggers, busy grilling the wotsits out of some reduced burgers at the minute. But will indulge in a HHHM (Half hour harassing Minion) after we've had a bit of minced cow.

    hugs for mummyof5
Greenbee - hope you get things sorted
SSL - my H - and the father of both SS and DS - is adamant that they are brothers and that they should describe themselves as that, whatever his XW says and to be fair to the SSs they feel the same. Mind you this is the same woman who told her 7 year old son that Daddy wouldn't love him anymore once we had a baby. I wasn't pg, and they had been split for quite a while at this point so no logic in the conversation. Whatever happens and no matter how angry I was I would never, ever hurt a small child with words like that. Humph.

anyway, TD is on with towels in and I need to put the WM on. No one has emptied the DW so I am ignoring it. I also refuse to get on when other people are SOADFAing. I can see this being a major issue over the next 11 days

KH said that to my lot when he found out I was pg with Squeak.. at least this time they know it isn't true... but then he does spout a total pile of bull faeces 24/7 anyway so most of the children don't take a blind bit of notice any more.

    Thank you!

I'm not counting on the DLA being renewed, after all so many people are having theirs refused until Tribunal, so I am trying to preempt a considerable drop in income from June. I've already had a medical for the last 3 years' award, and the woman I spoke to on the phone said it's unlikely I will have to have another medical when I've already had one - but they can say anything on the phone, can't they?

I was just about to say that I havent seen any clients get knocked back in reapplying for DLA. I'm so sorry for your DS mummyof5. It seems to be clients going from incapacity to ESA where the massive problems are occuring. They have made the test too flipping difficult, so instead of getting the target 20% of incapacity, there are getting rid of 40%! We are seeing a horrendous amount of appeals and then on to Tribunal. If I can do anything for either of you, please pm me.

I think it helps that I have friends are step mothers and its good to check with them if I'm being touchy about certain things. However, this is just so completely outrageous, no one can understand them, especially my ex husband and father of both children.

I've been at the library on the way back from Election Training. Hex, I cant believe I forgot to recommend my lovely Bernie Gunther to you! He is a Berlin detective and the books start of in the 1930s. The author is Phillip Kerr. Personally, I'd stick with Bernie Gunther. He has done some science fiction stuff which is just too left field for me. I have got a new book to read and I am thrilled!!!!

Dinner was Beef Chow Mein from the Takeaway Secret. Blooming lovely it was too. Best do the dishes before settling down to watch the Wire...again :D
