Shopping done but we will need to go again tomorrow as well. Supermarket was too busy for me to look for anything.
I am off into the garden even though I know I will be bombarded with questions. For the first time ever I am enjoying decluttering the garden and want to be able to see some results.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

HHC too longer that expected but I did give the bedrooms a once over, hang a lot of washing out and hunt down another one, as well as get showered and dressed.
Im going to try persued OH to take me into town this evening to return some clothes, rather than do it tomorrow. As this way we may be able to go out for the day tomorrow, but Im sure he'd prefer to head off the gym.
SSL I think that the pregnacy card was why I though your DD was younger as I presumed your ex had expected her to make one. Bloody hell there is cards for everything know!!
Im thinking I may go and d some weeding in theback garden or just go and sit outside and read my book."Let your boat of life be light, pack only what you need- A homely home and simple pleasures, one or two friends worth the name, someone to love and someone who loves you, a cat, a dog, a pipe or two enough to eat, enough to wear and a little more than enough to drink, as thirst is a dangerous thing" Jerome k. JOJO~ cattle prods are fine during school hols if kids are being lazy. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Many many years ago my father had cattle, and he used electric fencing to keep them in an unfenced feild, this fencing ran off a battery thing, and to test if it was working, you held a piece of grass to it and watched it bounce, or you got your sibling to grap hold of it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: telling them it was off.................:o:o (of course I could never dream of doing such a thing)
Fairly quite here at work, OH has just been to collect some empty boxes to 'quote sort out my gib for you to car boot' :j:j:jBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Afternoon all! Right then, day 2 of all this! DS3 said to me yesterday evening "well done on the tidying Mum!!"
It has to be said that he was sitting down on the sofa, on the laptop, after I'd cooked all his meals and tidied away after him all day, as usual. DS1 and DS2 are not much better! I did drop massive hints that changes would have to be made before the baby gets here. People will have to help out more and pull their weight. DS1 did the washing up after dinner. I notice they are back to their usual, 'relaxed' selves today though!

I mean, pregnancy doesn't always go to plan, and like my italian friends I always feel uncomfortable with the idea of too much planning and preparation.
Our family didn't risk buying anything till the baby arrived; then again, my Gran (born 1900) was 1 of 10 children, 2 of her siblings didn't make it past infancy, so those sorts of statistics make people cautious.
As it's nearly going home (via post office) time for me, I think I need to construct a shopping list if we're going to eat any fresh veg or salad over the weekend:D‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

did you sort this?skintscotslass wrote: »It was when she was pregnant. DD got into trouble for not sending a 'congratulations on being pregnant' card. Valli had me crying with laughter with the things we could have put on the card! Mind you, saying the boys arent related is just bad, possibly worse
oo I remember that...
I have been VERY VERY busy.
I might have mentioned I was going to wash the kids bedding including duvets and pillowcases...
well it morphed into a full, deep spring clean of Ds's room. Curtains have been washed and they survived, his room smells fragrant. Furniture moved, dusted behind and hoovered. Carpets spot treated. Rug spot treated and left out in the sun to dry. Room smells absolutely lovely, what with the fresh air and all. LOVE LOVE LOVE cleaning when the weathers like this.
DD's will be much easier.
So sorry I missed your birthday LAMEWOLF. PC stayed OFF all day yesterday.
I met my colleague to plan yeserday and met former colleagues for lunch today - we sat outside The Sitwell Arms:cool::cool::cool: (think Edith, Osbert etc - AnWs rang the bells for Sir Reresby lately). S'like being on holiday.
I have a peculiar sensation in a peculiar place so I am off to the docs shortly. I also plan to mention the occasional, but severe pain I keep getting, too.:o
Helo noobs inc Soairse which I cannot spell but I believe it's pronounced Seer-sha? And cheapdate too - you and me both
Congrats Mrs. Sexy!:D
Vallikids still incommunicado BTW...
I have also gardened and now have what likes to think it's a veg bed. All covered with homemade compost. And an empty compost bin. So the green bin filling will stop and the black bin filling will start (two compost bine two colours).
I haven't eaten one frog though. Not one.
Oh and I have had spiky visitors - hedgehogs on my garden - I am thrilled.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I have amazed myself, I have managed to cut the grass by myeslf and seeing as it was the first cut it didn't take too long. Yesterday and today's gardening jobs have been a lot quicker than I thought so I might head back out and see what else I can tackle. I am hoping that my success will inspire OH to do a couple of jobs out there with me this weekend. I need to decide what I would like to do with each patch and then work towards that. We moved it just over 6 years ago and haven't made it ours yet apart from allow morw weeds to grow :rotfl:. Oh isn't due home for a couple of hours yet so I am going to carry on.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

When are your boys back to school?
Tuesday, DS3 is off on his first residential then until Thursday night so looking forward to the break.
Shopping done so time for a cuppa and sit in the sun. Fed up too as SiL as told DH that neice is not coming tomorrow now (she is 7 so plays with DS3) but nephew who we have not seen in years (he is 21 and winds up DS1&2) is coming. I was planning taking the younger ones down to get a rowing boat out on the lake and an easter egg hung. Now will have another teenager/young adult to feed. I know it sounds mean but I'm not good at plans being changed.
