big congrats to sexy'moon'mouse :) was gonna ask if you were planning a honeymoon and saw you got married in jamaica. :) hope it was all you hoped for. I am still waiting for a honey moon although being 24 weeks preg already and having only received our passports today, it may not be any where exotic. lol
Off to finish vacuuming so i can start to think about dinner!

    Hello everyone!

I used to read (avidly) and post (a little bit) on the flylady thread on here years ago!! I need to do this again! (It's not as if I was good in the meantime, with a lovely, perfect house! I just ignored the mess/chaos/clutter!)

I am 30 weeks pregnant, and a combination of panic, nesting and a small house packed with lots of people/things, means I need to get serious! I have spent the last couple of weeks half-heartedly reading the actual flylady site and all those emails she sends!! I have actually managed to get rid of lots of stuff and sort other things out. This has made me feel quite proud of myself and eager to stick with it this time. (Plus there will be a little person here in 10 weeks time, and he is taking up tons of room already with all his stuff!!)

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself, make a start, and now I will go back and have a read of this thread. (My problem, well one of them!, before was I spent too much time online, reading how well/badly the girls on here were doing, and sympathising or thinking "ooh, she's done well!" and reading the flylady site, and making a cup of tea, and saying "well, I'll make a start in a mo!"

I probably need to get off my backside in a minute, after I've decided on a plan of action for this afternoon. Wow, it's 4:30 already!!

Also, I need to not use the fact I am as big as a house mean I can't tidy the actual house! :rotfl:

Hope everyone is ok and doing well today. :)

Sexymouse welcome back, glad to hear you had a lovely time and I wish you and Moon many more to come.

LW have a lovely evening out with MR LW.

Pigpen I hope you remember to take it easy and let others do all the hardwork when it come to helping DS1 move.

ajmoney I think you need to add a very tall fence to your list so that the little girl next door can see you,lol

Ive started my baking but need more brown sugar to make the caramel for my shortbread, so will get OH to drop me at MR T's while he take DS to football. I still need to do some Twinks but Im aching all over and cant stand up any longer.

Ive decluttered myself ino the shower and given the bathroom a once over as well as hunted through DD,DS and OH floordrobe's for washing.

Happy Birthday Lamewolf - hope you have a lovely time out with Mr LW :)

    Welcome back MrssexyMoon :)

I've dried some washing today and that's all put away. DD2 came over and took me to the tip so that's a carload gone, we'll go again next week. The tip is not a place to visit over the Easter weekend!

She also helped me put lots of stuff away in the kitchen, just one box left to do which DH can help me with on Friday, and the new kettle and toaster to get out when the last bit of painting is finished tomorrow. The fridge/freezer and freezer are in the kitchen and I've got shopping coming tomorrow. First shop this month! Table and chairs due to be delivered tomorrow too.

Tomorrow I want to clean the bathroom and toilet. Vacuum thoroughly in the hallway and through to the kitchen and then put the living room furniture back in place. When my table and chairs are safely delivered we can shove the old table out in the garden until the tip run next week.

    Nearly time for work :(

Welcome back cheap date and feefeelalabelle

    Froddington
that looks like my perfect holiday. Glad you enjoyed it. I would hate not knowing where we were due to go :o

Valli - SS2 (15) has been in South America for the last week or so with school (patronising the locals in the name of 'charity') and has only communicated with his GF via Facebook, but luckily SS1 saw it and let us know he is alive or his Dad would be fretting :roll eyes: Utterly frustrating.

SSL - will check on awesome books for those. I save my survey money on paypal for books. Also thanks to MrsC who suggested Wilkie Collins.

Greenbee - hope all is ok? I have visions of you with chocolate poisoning from the last batch :o

We have made easter nests, so DS2 is happy. DS1 said a very rude word and has been sent to bed . Three steps forward, two steps back. I bet washing his mouth out with soap and water is prosecuteable these days but I am very tempted.

Must iron a work shirt for H whilst I can still be bothered as he is off to Suffolk again tomorrow, and then has 11 days off so no more ironing :j, and remove the seeds/compost/pots from the dining table.

Mrs sexy~ welcome back, glad all went well for you

Odd day for me, been to OH's late aunt's formal Mass funeral, inc Holy Communion, met his one of his sisters who is lovely:j:j:j, plus a load of his first cousins, some of which he did know about, but has never met, as it is such a large family on that side! Gave up in the end working out who belonged to which bit of the family, spent it chatting to this new SIL:j:j!! anyway back home now and not going to do a lot except 4 miles on my machine to make up for what I ate at the wake / meal / drinks afterwards.
