Morning all! I sort of lost yesterday in a haze of food shopping and tiredness - think I used up too many spoons over the weekend! Anyway, I am ok today and washing is on the line.
Toots - thank you. You didn't miss where I was going as, apart from the organiser, none of us knew until we were given our boarding passes at the airport! And, yes, I have had one enormous and one small parcel :A Thank you xx Hope you are enjoying your new home xx
pigpen - thank you for updating everyone xx Glad Squeak is feeling better and has her first tooth. Piccie is gorgeous! This is La Serena, the house we stayed in.
We had amazing hosts and wonderful food. They organised all our activities - olive oil and cheese tasting, visit to a local Cantine with wine tasting, trip to Perugia, trip to Assisi, dinner in small local farms and restaurants, visits to local villages. Brilliant! And it was all very Italian with local produce, typical meals, specialities of the region (Umbria) and not very touristy. Proper Italy, IYSWIM
LW - Happy Birthday - hope you have a wonderful day xx
The furries are fine, thank you. They were pleased to see me though and had a good time out playing last night
Right, I need a list - hopefully, there will be something I can cross off!!"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Good Morning All
I have read through the thread but brain fog is preventing me from taking anything in, so Hugs/Spoons Sticks to all who need or want/need them
Happy Birthday LW :bdaycake:have a lovely day with MR LW
Im glad it the kitchen today as it is a right hovel and needs some cleaning/tidying before I mess it up again as I've promised OH I'll make some caramel Shortbread, twinks and peanut butter cookies to take into work, I may also make some toffee apple muffins.
DD appears to be feeling a lot better today. She was very tearful last night when as she told KN's behaviour while she was on holiday. Apparently she got upset watching him playing happy families with his new partner and her daughter and later that day gave KN a mouth full of home truths  Him and his new partner are planning a baby and have asked DD to move in with them so that she can help out, as it will make her realise how hard caring for a baby is and make sure she doesnt end up being a teen mum......I think not!!!:mad::mad:I didnt raise my DD to become an unpaid nanny and how dare they even suggest this, but Im keeping my powder dry at the minute and not going to say anything but if he thinks DD's home thruths where painful him and his OH dont want to hear what I have to say.
Right off to have another coffee before starting on the kitchen, yes I am prcrastinating:o
