I've made a start on the hoovering, just having a lunch snack before I finish downstairs. DS2 is squeezing oranges for himself and DS3.

I'll treat myself to 10 minutes on here before carrying on.

Valli - how do I make jam from frozen strawberries - just defrost weight and carry on as usual? Will it be the same? Do I keep all the water as they defrost?

    Hello Flyfriends.

Many thanks for all the lovely birthday wishes; and delicious virtual cakes!:D

As predicted, virtually no flying today; although I did wash the big crocheted blanket I use as a cover for resting on the sofa, prior to storing it away for the summer (I have a lightweight one for the warmer months), so that's out on the line drying in the sunshine. I've also made a loaf in the BM.

However, I've grabbed today's list onto my Word.doc, and will see how much I can catch up with tomorrow.

Mr LW will be finishing work at 14:30, and the idea is to pop into town, and he wants us to go out for our dins - he's talking about the Jaipur in Central Milton Keynes. I know they used to do a very mild vegetable korma, so I'm hoping they still do!:D I also happen to know there's a bottle of champagne in the fridge......:D

Anyways, I'm off to to today's brain training, then I'd better see about finding some war paint!:rotfl:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Thanks for the hugs Toots DD really could do with as many as possible at the minute.

It has taken me 2hrs to clean the kitchen, without any breaks:eek: we only have a small kitchen. I think Im going to have some lunch once the floor dries and then I may crack on with HHI before doing the baking for OH...or I could do the baking and make him do the ironing in exchange for it,lol:D:p;). anyway whatever I do I need to give the backroom a going over as its looking like a bit of a dumping ground, so I see a binbag dance in my future.

I am happy with what I have done for now. Off into the garden for an hour before NNs daughter gets home to interrupt me. I may try and finish the lists when I come in.
