Ive got a Henry, who i love on the hard floors but is no good at getting the dog hair up (so I want this attachment http://www.equip4work.co.uk/shop/red-easy-ride-airo-brush.html)
I also have a Vac which does a great job of collecting the dog hair .The dog is black and the carpets throughout the house are clear and beige and they come up spotless, well at least for the few seconds that dogbot is out of the room:p.

Thanks to all for the good wishes. The deed is done. Just had a text from sister saying thanks for the bubbly and the card - it made her cry. Just the effect I wanted:rotfl:GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500

I have fitflops.. my feet are too wide so don't fit in them.. despite me getting a size bigger than my shoe size..
Another 2 loads of laundry out.. and I appear to have accumulated 5 children that aren't even mine!!!! I am sure I am doing something wrong!
Bouncy castle out so we'll have screaming in about 5 minutes!
Re the fitflops - you are not alone - DD2 cannot fit her size 4 feet into mine or DD1's....- her feet just ain't that shape!
Have changed 2 beds, washed and line dried all the bedding. Have walked into York with DD2 and mostly walked back.:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Thank you for the company Dancemum:
I got the vacuuming parts of the list done (except for hall) and wiped the sofa's, as DD has now gone upstairs and she may be sick after all as she is running a fever. I also managed to get dinner on and S&S kitchen.

Dancemum and Happierdaystocome how did your HHC go?
I'm really pleased with how much I've managed this afternoon. I have spent half hour sorting out carp from the nursery and it's really statting to look a little better. Done the washing up/recycling and general wipe down of the kitchen and taken most of the rubbish out of the hallway. I have several bags for the charity shop, an ofcut of carpet and the car seat still there but it's a lot better than before. Carpet should be in study and car seat in the car but baby not letting me put her down for long enough to move heavy things.
Here is the things I have left.
I'm going to get the duster out now as I can do that while carrying the baby and I will brush the floor after dinner tonight when baby is asleep.
This is the first time in a long time I'm begining to feel positive that I can get back on top of the house. Thank you to piggers for the thread. Hope you managed to get all the excess children carted off back home and your not having to feed them all too!

Good afternoon...
I've been lurking on and off this past couple of weeks; SPD & sciatica have been horrendous so having weekly accupuncture iwth the hopsital physio for it. The 24 hours after physio I'm in great pain but then it settles so I've more energy 2-6 days after each session - I'm trying to do my housework in the good days and not worry about the house during the bad days. Only problem is that I do too much during the good days:o
Anyway, last Wednesday was a mammoth cleaning session from sun up to sun down. This weekend I had a good look at the house and realised that it just needed a tweak here and there to be company ready; putting a cushion straight, wiping sticky finger marks from the TV, put LO toys and books away neatly (she doesn't like them put neatly and much prefers them strewn around the living room):D
So we spent the weekend in the garden. LO playing on her toys and hleping DH and I with our garden related chores. DH has been in the garden most weekends for the past month so it was looking a lot more tended this year than in previous years with veg patches dug over, the green house cleaned etc. I spent 15 minutes with a scrubbing brush and soapy disinfectant cleaning the little tykes climbing frame - this has usually just had a wipe down with damp cloth over winter but I saw that there were patches of algae forming in the shaded areas  ... 15 minutes later and the soapy disinfectant was mostly gone but the climbing frame looked as good as new!
Because I'm growing a future flybaby I decided the next 15 minutes would be spent reclining on the bench... I woke up an hour later:o. Feeling much refreshed I decided to plant some sweetcorn, pepper, tomato and squash seeds as well as some summer flowering bulbs. Then weeded a border and sowed some salad leaf seeds - salad days in three weeks hopefully! Some of the (out of date) seeds I'd planted a fortnight ago had already started sprouting but I think the 10 year old sweetcorn seeds were past their best so we'll make do with this year's 40 seeds I planted yesterday!
DH insisted that I make more of twinks hobnobs as the batch i'd made earlier in the week had been eaten by fairies and mice! How very dare he suggest that mice live in my house. I suggested that the last batch was eaten by a big fat rat who answered to DH! He didn't disagree:rotfl:. Hobnobs made and half of them disappeared within an hour or so.
Tonight I'll be damp dusting the skirting boards and door frames in the bedrooms and living rooms, blitzing the kitchen (washing, drying and putting away crockery, wiping doors & surfaces, sweeping and mopping kitchen floor - kitchen blitz usually takes about 20 minutes. Last job to load WM. I might even get to sit outside and read a book for a while...
I have a plan for Tuesday - unload WM in morning and hang out to dry (in sun room on airers). Vacuum bedrooms, stairs and living room. Then do HHI in the evening (watching Holby City).
