Well DD is still asleep on the sofa, not sure whether to wake her as Im worried she wont sleep tonight or leave her.
*Rant Alert, Please feel free to ignore*
OH came home for lunch and is working late again this evening and then plans to go to the gym for a few hours. I think we need to talk about house work responsibilities as Im back to see occy health tomorrow and fingers crossed will be back at work next week. Friday/saturday and most of yesterday saw me too ill to be able to manage anything but OH still thought that rather than help he would go off bike riding and it would be take away for dinner:mad::mad::mad:. I know he needs to prepare himself for teh coast to coast but I think that spending the whole weekend doing it is just taking the !!!!!! when there are other things to do. As a consquence of this th whole house is a tip again (as dogbot is molting like mad and OH just seems to leave a trail of carp in his wake) and suprise suprise guess who is expected to clean it. So feeling a little disheartened at the moment.
Dragon (((Hugs)))) and healing vibes to you
LW (((hugs))) feel free to howl if you need too. You achieve a lot yesterday and should be proud of yourself and not let the insensitivity of the actions of the other people take that away from you. I struggle when meeting new people and hide behind my OH whenever possibleas he is the total opposite to me.

i found dysons to be crap too. (sorry!)
i ended up saving and gettng a second hand kirby and I don't know if i could ever go back. Would love to upgrade to a newer one (mine is a G5. dh used to seel the G4 back in the mid nineties. Think there have been about five more generations since. maybe more) it was definitely money well spent as it was (apparently) a unit used to clean a small guest house and I have now had it for five years and its still going strong! Should probably get it serviced soon but I will add that to my 'to do' list once i am off on mat leave (only three weeks to go.)

I have an old dyson and its the best vac I have ever owned and I have been through a few,
, I have the Zorb dyson as well and it seems to get blockages much easier than the old one. Old one was cheap to repair as well :j I seem to accumulate vacs, I have a goblin and a hover as well.
LR was mostly done before work, I ran the cedar mop over the floor, but I still need to finish the mats.Sue
Do I need to eat it
Can I afford the calories:eek:
have I checked for a lower calorie version:T0 -
Just a quick check in to say that I am still here and have now found I am neglecting the housework for the Tesco double the difference promotion, it takes time to shop you know!
Hope you are all well.Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0 -
I've finally completed the work task I started yesterday :j - daren't count the hours it's taken me (or work out the fraction of my complete work to-do list this represents ), but I've now e-mailed the spreadsheet to colleagues for comments. :T

I have a dyson animal - it copes with 2 huskies (one double coated) and has been going for about 3 years now (that'll be the kiss of death, you just watch!)
Next time I do the stairs (I've done em today, get me) I'll do half a step and take a picture
you can see what it has to cope with. My stair carpet is chocolate brown.... however quite often it's white or gray. And they're not in full moult yet... it's on its way. Where you can pull clumps of dog out that are thicker that cotton wool wads!
We call it husky plucking season, you cant help but pull out the wads :rotfl:
Mind you the beagle's blowing her jacket at the moment. - That fur doesnt get in your food, but is still a pain :rotfl:anyways me dyson copes nicely. Only one I've found to do so
Right and on to the windows for me. Running muttlies individually although good for me, is cak for windows as beagle wants to know where we're going :rotfl: nose art, slobber, even foot prints!!
I wouldnt be without 'em but begger me what a mess!"I know that Prince Charming doesn’t come save me, we save each other and fight back to back against all comers that’s what marriage is to me. Nothing passive, no being carried off on a white steed, give me my own damn horse and lets ride into the sunset side by side." - Laurell K. Hamilton.0 -
