The overdraft is horrendous  (or at least it will be again in a few weeks!) but thanks for asking. I will keep going...I have no choice! :rotfl:

QuidCo...oh you *have* to sign up. http://www.quidco.com

If ever you need to buy anything online or search for things online (using Kelkoo or the High Street Web) then you should go through QuidCo first as there is commission to be made.

How much do I make per month? Well it depends what I need to buy. It can be anything from just a few pounds from 'searches' to £10, £20, £30 or more if you've made lots of purchases.

If you are booking flights - you MUST use this site as you can get a percentage back could be anything from 3% to 7%. Worth having!

Just check it out, you pay £5 out of your 'earnings' per year and that's it. Nothing else.

afternoon LA, gosh your organized with your spreadsheet, I've only just started one to keep track of my spending cc as well as bills n stuff, nowhere near as funcy as yours tho!!!

after getting your cc cleared it's no wonder your having a bit of a break form debt busting, it's an arduous ( i checked that in the dictionary, mum would be so proud) task and not something that you (in my opinion) can do 24/7, you'd crack up. just make sure your time off is done wisely (thru quidco etc as you've been doing) then once you feel refreshed get stuck into that od. In the meantime even knocking off £20-£30 a month is a good thing and a step forward.

big hugs and keep on trucking ;)

(you heard from our mutual friend recently? little worried but know a lack of credit is likely, perhaps a trip away for the weekend?)

Just popping on before the new series of Doctor Who starts!

A_T_B: Welcome to my ramblings! You come in & comment away whenever you like hon, you're most welcome.

J_D: Hey there! Oooh lots of birthdays! Actually I was looking through my diary the other day and I have loads of birthdays coming up too so I sympathise.

LJ: Hearing sporadically from our mutual friend, think there is a lot on plate at moment. Thanks for your encouraging words LJ, they mean a lot.

I am definitely buying through QuidCo whenever possible and EBAY too. However today I had to go and buy something in the flesh  which was a bit of a shock to the system! But I had to get some new work boots so I popped down to Brantano and found some lovely mocha coloured leather ones (Bad vegetarian! Bad! Bad! :naughty:) which were reduced from £50 to £30 so I nabbed those.

I really really really wanted some little flat pump type shoes as well to go with long casual trousers but I couldn't see anything in the sale so I forced myself out of the store and will go back after next pay day.

I also booked some tickets yesterday to go and see a gig in December. "From the Jam" are playing at the Cambridge Corn Exchange and comprise of two of the original 'The Jam' members (Bruce Foxton & Rick Buckler) along with the very talented Russell Hastings on vocals and I just can't miss it. I can't!

So they are booked and that's something to look forward to.

Am still EBAY-ing and have sold three things yesterday/today not for a lot but it's something.

Argh, Doctor Who has started...I'm off!

    Bye for now!

The Jam are in Norwich too in December but so far I have resisted any "ticket hotline" type callings.......

Awwww hypno....now, I know this is totally un-DFW stylee but, I have to say it...............I think you should go see 'em.

We're all working hard to pay off our debts but life is also for living. We have to be able to look back at the year (and our lives!!) and pick out some damn good times and I am sure this will be one of them.

Think about it........two thirds of The Jam - the mighty Jam - getting back together.......it just has to be done.

Let me know if you book! :)

OK I am seriously p***** off.

Some of you might remember last year when we got burgled? I had to borrow yet more money to get security tightened up around the house...and that's exactly what we did. Spent a small fortune.

We get home today and I go out into the garden to bring some washing in...only to find the shed door wide open and a poxy little weeding tool left on the patio as some little b****** has tried to break in to the house again through the French doors.

I am really pleased to say that they didn't achieve anything except take a couple of little surface chunks out of the door but I am devastated that they even got into the garden as we've fenced it off, fitted trellis, we've got a burglar alarm visible that we set every day amongst other things.

We think they got in over a tiny bit of fence under a big tree which isn't trellised (but it will be very soon!!) because we didn't think anyone would try and fight their way through the tree.

Either that or they legged it about 9 feet over a fence and our shed from the grounds of the flats next door and if they did that, then there's no hope for us all because it would have been in full view of about 10 properties. The audacity would be incredible. But something tells me people's audacity really is that great today.

So anyway, £50 more spent tonight on another alarm box to go on the back of the house, another sensor strip to go on the front door.....tomorrow morning (happy birthday to me - not) we've got someone coming over to quote on fitting bolts to the French doors (even though it too has an alarm strip on it.)

Great start to the Easter break.

Anyway I called the police to report it and they sent a SoC officer around quite quickly and he found a good print off the garden tool.....just hope it's not the other half's!

Hate to say it but I think we've been targeted by someone who knows someone close to home and was involved in the last burglary too....which is so gutting because if we're right and they know we work full time, it doesn't matter what security measures we put up, they're always going to be trying until (IF) we catch them.

And we can't prove anything at this stage either.

    :(

oh LA that is such a horrible thing to have happen, but on the silver lining side all the extra security has paid off as they didn't get in.

I'm so sorry to hear you think this is some kind of conspiracy from within your cirlce, have you any thoughts on fitting some kind of cctv so that if anything does happen again you might be able to catch them on camera? I have no idea how much something like this costs but if you did catch them it'd be worth it.

Keep smiling sweetheart, big hugs coming your way xx
