In normal circumstances, eyelash curlers don't keep you up at night, or generate excess smelly waste....so, suits me! :rotfl:

I've had a lovely weekend thanks hon. I feel I have been very productive as I hauled a55 out of bed very early (for me...on a Saturday..) yesterday (8.00am) and got tonnes done.

Today I did stuff with my house plants & bought some flowers, did a little bid of garden tidying up (BF did the 'proper' stuff ;)), generally felt like I got some of my zing back.

Hence the new avatar! Spring is on the way and it affects me in the best way so I hope to apply that to my DFW attitude as well.

I've really got to hammer the overdraft down by June however it kind of conflicts with the plans/hopes I have for the next three months or so as I want to attack the house with paint, new (to me) carpet in the hallway etc etc.

However I shall work something out so I feel I am getting the best of both worlds, I'm sure!

My home is very important to me this year, I feel the urge to get it very sorted.

(Don't anybody suggest I might be broody and wanting to build a nest or anything like that by the way, that's soooo not happening!)

awww check you LA getting all broody and nest building!!!

:rotfl: sorry couldn't resist, it's like holding red to a bull to tell me NOT to do summit hehehe

I can totally relate to the house thing, I've been here five and a half years now and I'd love to get it finshed before the six year mark. especially since it's twice as long as I planned to keep it! Though as the garden is shared a quick tidy is all I'm thinking of doing and not until my flat is perfect, thats more important to me. Lucky you having an oh to help tho, my flat sure moved quicker when bob the bulder lived here with me :rotfl:

Glad you had a good weekend, it soo didn't feel like one up here what with working and not going out, feels midweek to me! roll on next weekend when I can remember what living feels like! :D

I think it looks like I'm just about to feast on daffodils.....and if you come back in about 12 months I'm sure I will have become a bloater and about to meet the mint sauce
