Taxi you've got enough on your plate right now love, don't you be worrying about me sweetie :)

You're so right though, we always find a way. We're a resilient lot us DFW's.

Armed with our eyelash curlers and electric toothbrushes who can stop us?

I agree! If places had shower facilities I am sure loads more people would cycle to work.

When I worked in the City, I found a gym that would let me pay a whole 20p for the use of their lockers and showers so that I could go for a run (well, a slow jog) at lunchtime. Perhaps you could find somewhere that would allow you to do the same?

I think I am missing out on the curly eyelash thing. Do they really make loads of difference?

Corr 20p! Bargain! Lucky you, sounds fab.

I'd definitely use facilities if they were available to me.

Unfortunately though I work for a company that are based in a sleepy market town in the countryside and the nearest facilities are, strangely, an industrial estate full of mechanics & truck drivers.....or a field! :rotfl:

    Lovely idea though.

I'll have to let you know of my own personal experience on the heated eyelash curlers when I get them...but I have read rave reviews about them and Trinny & Susannah rate them too so...good feedback.

BUT, I'll post an update when I have had chance to use them. I hope they arrive tomorrow but that's expecting too much!

Just read the update including eye lash curler! Good to see you are getting some bits for you LA, I know you can be pretty mean to you ;)

I was given a heated eye lash curler for Christmas and for some unknown reason, I used it after I had put mascara on. My lashes all stuck together and I had a few sweaty moments there until I got them unstuck  I thought I'd be going out looking like one eyed Joe

    So be careful!

OOOOH! SO glad you told me that Moozie as I have a real icky phobia thing going on to do with eyes so that would be a total nightmare for me.

I did read somewhere that some of the curlers you can use when wearing mascara but not sure about the one I am buying.

I will err on the side of caution and apply mascara afterwards if at all!

    THANK YOU.

Sorry, had to laugh. Then felt guilty at laughing at such a disastrous moment!

    Hi there.

No, they haven't turned up yet....I heard the letter box go at 8,00am on Saturday and thought "oooooh are they here??" but, sadly not.

I thought it was a bit much to expect as I only paid for them at about 1pm on Friday.

I reckon they'll turn up Tuesday or Wednesday.

    I will report ASAP! :)

The anticipation of the arrival of your eyelash curlers has us all on the edge of our seats, LA!

I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight. It's definitely taking the shine off the current baby boom! :rotfl:
