I went to Thorpe Park yesterday with 3 teenagers. It was quite busy. We have Merlin passes so go regularly to the theme parks. Yesterday I noticed a HUGE difference in the amount of people in the fast track lanes compared to last year. It was so bad that the fast track queues had more people going through them person for person than the normal queues, so as you can imagine the normal queues were horrific.
I have no idea if the people in the fastrack queues were with specially purchased fastrack tickets and/or because of a disability. What I do know is that it totally wrecked our own day out as the normal queue people are now quite obviously 2nd class citizens at Thorpe Park. Not only will we not e going back there but we won't be renewing our Merlin passes again. It really was that bad.0 -
They're supposed to only have a limited number of fast track tickets for the day and once they're gone they're gone. I think if they are going to tighten the disability criteria for exit passes they should also cut down on the number of fast track passes sold as it sounds like the problem really is a combination of the two issues."Life is what you make of it, whoever got anywhere without some passion and ambition?0
