VCL - thanks, going to another hospital for a second opinion re the type of surgery as my local one wants to do open surgery and it may be possible to do via keyhole or robotics.. will se what I find out on Wednesday, fingers crossed all will be good.. thanks.0

fingers & toes crossed you can have keyhole surgery & everything goes well & recovery.
how did they discover they were there @ the GPs (getting a proper check up at mine has been hit/miss!) or did you insist on further investigations?0 -

OK, had my consultation in another hospital today and confirmation - kidney cancer on left kidney and some cyst (not cancer) on adrenal gland.
But this hospital is happy to remove both left kidney and adrenal gland via keyhole surgery so this is good news.
Had all the tests done, one takes 2 weeks to come back, should have the surgery end of April/begining of May.
Going to cancel my 18th April surgery date at the local hospital that insisted on open surgery (twice the amount o time off work/recovery) and go with the second one.....

Zara must have known I had the appointment today as all night last night she was waing me up EVERY HOUR... she had an upset tummy and needed to poo - EVERY hour> Maybe my stress got on to her? IN any case.. I am shattered today as had no sleep last night.... She is pooing just water now, gave her nothing to eat all day and came back home (after the hospital) to puddles on the floor, she could not hold it poor thing....
Cooked some rice/chicken for her for tomorrow... hope her stomach will calm down and we won't have to go t the vets...
Those things laways happen when there are some days off (extra fees at the vets at bak holidays).. last time she was unwell was New Year.. now Easter.... sigh...0 -
