OK, not sure why am I doing this, guess feeling a bit !!!!!! so here it goes.....
Good things - have been in my new job for 2 weeks now and really enjoy it.. not so the travel /salary part but job is good, people are nice so definite pluses.
Zara is NOT barking, has not barked for whole 2 weeks while I was at work - her separation anxiety seems to be under control and this was my big worry.
Bad news - started my new job on the 12th and on the 15th found out I have 2 tumorous.. one on my kidney and one on my adrenal gland. Need surgery to copletely remove both.
That means 1 week in a hospital and then 6 weeks off work as it will be an open not a key hole surgery.
Good news is that despite this issue coming up in my first week at new job - they are ok about it and there is no risk of me loosing the job. I will even get 1 month full pay and 2 months half pay if needed.
Also good news is that I have managed to organise cat/dog care/help for that time.
So fingers crossed all will turn up ok..
Surgery scheduled for end of April, should really be sooner but I played for time as want to get a second opinion from another doctor at another hospital so hoping to get an appointment there. If not - local hospital with the doctor whom I have already seen.
!!!! scared to be honest but.. have to hope for the best.0 -
