  • What a strange week I have had, very strange. I have got an interview for the job so need to do some research and prepare. I am very nervous but I am thinking I need to do this for a better future.

One of the mums from toddler group is going to be doing a bootsale in a few weeks time and she has invited me along with her as we were speaking about all the things we have. I have accepted and am now going through bits to organise to take with me. I am nervous but she knows about bootsales so that is reassuring.

My seeds have started to sprout now, I am really getting into the garden, I have sorted out a few pots, at the moment they are all up on the bench to give them a chance. Its amazing how much I got from the poundshop for next to nothing and I am seeing results, its very exciting and definately something I am going to carry on, its something nice for me and DD to do and hopefully it will save us some money.

I have learnt so much and am always learning, its a long journey but I am travelling to my destination.xx

  • And so the rain continues, OH is in a terrible mood, was yesterday and is slightly better today but still, why does he have to be moody. Anyway he is back to work tomorrow so hopefully my bank holiday will be a little more productive than what it has been so far.

I cant believe how my mind is working, every cupboard, every drawer I look in, I think that can go to the bootsale, so can that. I think its very good that I am thinking like this. I need to stay on this train of thought. I need to get myself out of the hole I have dug myself into. I am being very organised with the bootsale, I am going to put things into price order so when I put them out on the table then I will put them all in one area together. And then if I am not doing well at all then I can lower the price further.

I am working towards a routine in the house, to keep on top of things which seems to be helping with the organising.

And then there is the debt side of it - my wages were wrong so I am down on money this month but I am going to take some bits into sell tomorrow (an old phone, couple of DVDs) and see if I can make some extra money. I need the new job, it would help me so much to be able to get the debt under control and have money to put away.

My salad and veggie pots are doing well, lots of green leaves and sprouts. I need to get to the poundshop to get some more soil, and I have a couple of pots spare for seeds. I am really enjoying the garden, just hope the weather improves.

    xx

  • I prayed last night, prayed that I would be able to get the finances under control.

Bank Holiday was a total washout as I have been ill, perhaps run down, perhaps its all got to me. Still not feeling great but I am going to battle on through and try to achieve. I just want to do my best and see results.

Going for a walk into town today, save on petrol, and save on parking. Very DFW.

I am going to take the bits in which I need to see if I can sell, I cant see me getting very much but its a start.

I am then going to come home and do some jobs, I need to really get on top in the house, its stressing me out. And then once all that is done, I will then take some time to research for things I think will help me in the interview. I keep thinking negatively about not getting the job and thinking that 'oh I wont get it' but what I need to think is 'I need to do my best and put my all in as this job could change our life' No matter what happens I need to really put my all into the interview, at least then whatever the outcome I have tried.

My pots are coming on nicely but because of the weather I havent been out there. I just want to be able to enjoy them.

Well I am off for now to get ready and get out. xxx

Always think on the positive side Lost. I truly believe that if you think positive, positive things happen. Also, if you go in there and do your absolute best then you can have no regrets either way.

If it just so happens that you don't get the job that is because there is something better out there for you. Ask them for feedback on your interview so you can improve those areas in the future.

Keep praying. I'm not religious but I think praying is asking for good things to happen. Have you heard of the book "The Secret"? Would be good if you could give it a read ;)

  • So i wake up today and realise that I have been going round in the circle again, of feeling down and anxious, not achieving anything and generally failing in everything. Everything I try always goes wrong or nothing comes of it, I have tried to make money, I have tried to sell and it just seems I dont ever get any where. I am so fed up of feeling so down.

I didnt get the job, received a letter telling me, I wanted to cry but just couldnt seem to get the tears out.

Me and OH have actually been getting on, its been quiet nice to be able to feel relaxed when he has been around, not sure how long it will last.

I am determined to start again, fresh with a new attitude. I know I keep starting fresh, trying to achieve but its about picking myself up and moving forward.

So today, its a sunny day, great day to start. I am off to work today :( but will need to make the most of it. I am going to see how my day pans out and if I can I may take half day annual leave so I can come home and do some bits to work towards the new me.

I have been paid today and because of all the overtime last month I do have quiet a bit in my account, I am scared of touching it but DDs birthday is coming up so I want to get a couple of bits to put away. And then I need to work out the rest. Starting the budget again, starting the whole thing again.

I feel like all I do is repeat myself on here, all I do is go round in circles and I really have truely had enough.

    Hey Lost! :D

Chin up! Keep taking your meds. Something better is out there just waiting for you. If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try again. It is definitely about picking yourself up and moving forward. You have to keep starting fresh. Look at how far you have come already. :T

Don't be scared to touch your wages. Get a couple of lovely things for DD and don't feel guilty about it. She is your baby and your rock. You deserve to treat her and she deserves a treat!

Think positive and positive things happen, really ;)
