Well every agent who wants to do something about the situation should think about all they have to lose by sending a letter is the cost of a stamp ? HMRC have a duty of confidentiality with regard to information given to them so agents do not have to fear being exposed.

If we don't do anything they won't do anything. And if that's the result PROVIDENT will do nothing and we will be trodden into the ground. It's now or never !

Somebody is taking provi on. His name is Dean Lacey and you can contact him at dean.lacey2@ntlworld.com . He needs agents who are willing to make a stand to contact him as he has action planned. He does need our backing and support to take his plan of action forward.
• ive been on this site from beginning, theres been alot heip from some people, only wish some one would take prov on with this awful mess that they have thought up,i went to my office this wk really didnt want to go in and see what sh.t they wre going to give me i have been down £30 a wk since this scheme has started, thats my petrol every wk ,for the agents who have only lost a little believe me when it does hit you, you will be upset ,cause lets fave it we all basically do the same job why agents in bad areas are always penalised ,my office manager hasnt got a clue how rough my area is ,oh and had 4 leads from head office last wk ,whom every one have them have been written off previously and he really wanted me to put them on no way ,bet greenwood will have them lol, well folks good luck to us all we need it to get out of this disgusting pay structure .

Hello just been reading your comments, i have been an agent for 28 years and i packed in on Friday, every customer i told i was crying im absolutely gutted. The manager at our branch never said a word in fact he shut his office door. I know how you must feel, cos im gutted, but i was going to loose £65 this week out of £100 commission, as much as i love my job and my customers i cannot work for nothing. To be honest i cannot see any end to all this, but what they are forgetting is that they will also loose alot of customers.

Hi Blondie, all it would take to stop D.M getting bonus(don't forget that if they don't get it neither does A.M, Rom's, Dom's etc nice thought aint it)is to miss a £500 sale from your and colleagues sales targets for a few months. Lets see them squirm then when all their jobs are on the line.
i said the same thing if we dont hit their targets for loans the company wont hit the target for the year

A couple of hours ago, someone wrote a post about arranging a mass refusal of loans etc, but the post has disappeared.
It refered to the Providents current main aims, therefore it was someone in a higher position than us measly peasants.
Why have you removed your posting? Or is my p.c playing up.
It is a great idea to arrange a mass refusal of loans, as my AM/DM is constantly pushing for sales. They don't care if the people cant afford it, it's not them who get penalised.
There has been over 2000 views on this topic, so to all the agents who are reading this, put down what you think and see if the provi like the bad press.
i agree with not doing any loans anymore this would hit them

Hammyman, I didnt quote that, yes some agents do lend without consideration and some dont.
well hammyman i dont loan to anyone i dont think can afford it i also have customers who cant pay maybe they have lost their jobs or benefits i dont think that anyone should be able to take your commission that you have earned...we have to pay our own petrol and expenses we dont get any help with those we use our own phones to contact customers which we have to pay for we dont get big commissions so when we put petrol in to go round and do job we dont expect to be ripped off ...my wages where £104 last week of which £45 was taken off me and that is for customers that do pay but maybe reduced rate or may have missed a couple of payments
