if enough agents state their case properly , and not just rant and rave , i think they'll have to, or at least amend it to take out some of the unfairness such as deductions on customers you havent issued to, The problem you'll have are the agents who are making money off the new scheme , and there are some. Also in the past few years the upper managment have stopped listening to the field management, those of us who arn't to cowed to speak up and not spout the company line at any rate.

you need to speak to your dm / am , one thing i can say that might give you something to think about before quitting is one of my smaller agents lost over half her pay the first week , but trippled it the second ,so might be worth giving it four or five weeks to see the average, tho i still think its a poor system

Hi all fellow agents. I have just set up a twitter account for all agents to follow and tweet their opinions both good and bad on the new commission structure implemented by pfg. Please feel free to search twitter for agentssayno and start following today, tweet your views etc. Let's all get together to stop this corporate monster from taking what we have worked hard for. I am monitoring this twitter account and will be blocking other tweeters I suspect may be working for head office as this site is intended for agents only. Follow agentssayno on twitter today and spread the word to other fellow agents. Thanks. X

1follower on twitter so far but has yet to tweet anything. Come on agents show your support and unite together.

As things stand at the moment i am £30 down since this started. My book isnt huge but it does well for me. I dont think going on Twitter will do any good. I agree with Taff64 that it isnt the dms that came up with this idea is the Head Office so its them we need to complain to. Watchdog is still a good option and you can send your complaint without leaving your name. I know some people who have already done this. But some dms have been threatening agents with the sack if they dont come up with the sales but why should we lend to people that we know cant afford to pay back and for us to lose our commission and for dms to get their bonus. I say dont try and issue while under pressure from your dms. Do as you should and lend responsibly. I can remember being told sell to anyone dont worry if they can really afford it, we need the sales! I refused this idea as did many others!

I also notice this week I could potentially lose £60 but only gain £5 so how can that be any good. Im sure I will get weeks soon where I wont be able to gain anything but lose everything. If that happens too much I will definately leave as wouldnt be able to afford to stay!

If dm's do threaten you with the sack as they are bluffing knowing full well you wont quit, well call their bluff, i wouldn't work if i was losing money personally as soon as this was introduced i would be have given my book in an left with immediate effect sure there will be agents who earn more money but do you think the number of write off's will go up. As for issuing new loans then i wouldn't just out of principle and if dm's did some issuing i would then refuse to collect under my agency number.

Thinking about it - how about if we get other agents to do our issues and I do theirs then if they decide only to charge for loans that you did on your book, you wouldnt be charged! Would that work?

why dont they pay agents monthly
that way the adjustments should even the whole thing out,
now theres a solution for you

    Excellent idea.

Monthly sounds good, agents can change all their customers to monthly payments at the end of each month.

Only work one week a month, just the one weeks fuel bill.

No sales or collections for 3 weeks of the month....the savings in admin costs will be huge. You could close the offices for those 3 weeks and just work the one week.
