hi everyone ive been an agent for 12 years and am horrified at this new scam structure for commission.i lost 80pd last week have scraped some back for next week but no-one knows what targets there will be then.some of my friends and i are having a meeting next week at office.only 6 of us to represent all our section in case in the words of hierarchy "IT TURNS INTO A BAR BRAWL" what a nerve !it will probably fall on deaf ears anyway.we are speaking on behalf of everyone everywhere.so keep it up everyone. nowhere in your contracts can they take money from us unless its lost ur short or specified.apologies for any error never wrote on a forum b4 .xxx

HI ALL.
Just a thought regarding "contract" . It states that they will pay a weekly commission . Surely they have broken that if agents are paid a negative or minus commission ???????????????? After completing their weekly collections ????????? bet they will find a way round it though !!!!!!!!!!0 -
Hi Gummiebear11
I got the website off the mirror article I can't post weblinks on here yet, but have emailed them to find out if they can give me more information although I have already left a blog0 -

If every one of the people who post on here take a few minutes to post a confidential report to watchdog, I'm sure watch would have to follow it up, so come on folks, if you can take a few minutes to post replies on here, why not take a few minutes to complain to watchdog & hopefully get this mess sorted out and shame the hierachy at Provident into some sort of public comment and get some egg on the face of the appropriately named Mr Peter Crook, though I'd prefer to rub something much worse in his face!!!!!, and no, fortunately I dont work for provident, just a member of the public who knows a few Provident agents who are too scared to speak theyre minds to theyre dm's, but I'm not !!!!0

for years agents had target payment sheets they were not really concerned, most never looked at them, and the majority never gave a toss that they cost the company money.
now you see agents for what they really are, if they paid attention to them in the first place and worked them then i doubt provident would not have had to bring in this initiative.
cost the company, money who cares ? cost the agents money, well lets all go on strike,
there is a cautionary tale here,
once upon a time , 6 or 7 years ago a branch defected to the opposition, that is, most of the agents and a few dms within a few weeks they all wanted to come back, all were told to shove it, the branch coped very wel,l everybody in the area pulled together, provident still going strong, other company now defunct.
it may be true in the origin of species ,its not that the strong that survive but the willingness and the ability to adapt, believe me when i say that having previously worked for the company for 27 years (retired now) they have the ability to survive and take a loss, just look at yes car credit0 -
I have just looked on the Watchdog website. There is a section asking for your details but you dont have to fill it in. So if people wish to write about the "rip off" we are experiencing you can do this and send it without saying who you are! I will be doing this shortly so lets all get together today and sort this mess out!0

Hi all fellow agents. I have just set up a twitter account for all agents to follow and tweet their opinions both good and bad on the new commission structure implemented by pfg. Please feel free to search twitter for agentssayno and start following today, tweet your views etc. Let's all get together to stop this corporate monster from taking what we have worked hard for. I am monitoring this twitter account and will be blocking other tweeters I suspect may be working for head office as this site is intended for agents only. Follow agentssayno on twitter today and spread the word to other fellow agents. Thanks. X0
