  • I have been following this forum with interest. A close friend of mine is a provi agent but he only has a fairly small round. He collects for 2-3 hours on a monday and does a few odd calls throughout the week. This week he was fined that much that all his wages was taken in fines and he actually owes them £8.59. His balance sheet actually said -£8.59 although the AM said call it 0. This means that he has used his own time and his own petrol to collect for provi and then they actually want him to pay them for the privellege!

shopper cheq** here i come with my 200 customers.. even if 100 come with me .. well its a little victory to me .... cus my attiuted in life, is you dont bite the hand that feeds you ,, and we agents feed ,, providnt and there shareholders so lets take ur hard earned business to the other side,,,,,,, see how that hurts like they have hurt us,,,,,,,,,,, listen, if you just sit and work it out,,,,,,,,,,, YOU CANNOT GAIN ON PROVIDENTS IDEALS ,,, SIMPLE LOGISTICS .. YOU GAIN 1 WEEK.. THEY DEDUCT ( THIEVE ) TWICE AS MUCH THE NEXT WEEK ................. SIMPLES ................... PROVIDENT IS ON THE WAY DOWN.. JUST LIKE NORTHERN ROCK , AND THE REST OF THE *ankers ................ think on agents .................................. work it out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is a rather a bit of a stupid statement as when i was working for shopacheck my customers were already dealing with greenwoods, provident. How many of those 200 customers have got shopacheck already just remember you may see some of your customers as friends but they wont tell you any other debt they have. Plus if there is a shopacheck agent already covering your area they are more than likely been to your customers. I am sure there is a clause in your contract saying you cannot work for a rival company for 6 months(but i cannot see how they would know about it)

Plus goes to show you care little about your customers if you are willing to get them further into debt by arranging a loan with shopacheck. By the way shopacheck offer vouchers only to first time customers of £100 at a time.
  • dms/roms you will need to tighten your purse strings becauce after wk 17 you are going to be of bonus for a long time
  • I receive numerous texts and phonecalls from other agents saying they dont agree with this and they are going to lose that. But a vast majority are too frightened to speak up incase they lose there jobs or the company make it very difficult for them to stay. They are quite happy for the likes of me and afew others to get on here and say stuff but they arent prepared to stand up for themselves. Thats why the management think only afew arent happy. Get your views on here, make yourself heard to your managers. Because if they dont know they cant do anything. If your not prepared to speak up then stop complaining and put up with it!

Absolutely agree with you...... think the problem is isolation (and this is what provi are relying on) Its extreamely difficult to be seen as the 'one' stiring up things' so heres a thought, how about trying to manage this site into areas - that way each office will know how many are supporting each other, it will make it much easier to stand you ground if you know exactly how many other agents are standing with you?? - Dont know how we can sort this but i'm sure between us we can hatch a plan - perhaps we just start by saying our area?? mines OLDHAM!!!!!
