£6.00/hour eh? I wonder how many agents have actually earned less than the equivalent of that this last couple of weeks? By the readings on here, quite a few, so which would be cheaper in reality smart !!!!?
Special rates on DD's, Provident don't do DD's and if they did over 40% of MY customers couldn't comply, they don't have bank accounts (odd perhaps but true) of the remainder approx' another 20% wouldn't be interested, they don't/won't trust them.
As for debit cards, from the dealings I've had with my manager regarding them, minimum payment has to be £5, which many of my customers don't pay anyway because they've been refinanced etc. Plenty of grey areas there me thinks.0 -
how many agents had other things to do, or other places to be when this new scheme was launched ?, how many agents complain about the commision they earn, when sales and customers have been generated by their managers ?, how many agents put their friends and family on for a book of vouchers during the promotions ?
here is the biggest question , why is recruitment of agents not a problem???????????????????????0 -
to veryupset you can leave but where would you get a reference from,
you go to shoppachek and find that most of your customers are already with them,
i for one would refuse to give a reference to any employee of mine who has threatened my business in this way, and would expect that the company she moved to would find that she would do the same to them when she gets another hissy fit0 -
Just got back from collecting my round - good week. Been following this for a couple of days. Amazing how many of the blogs are posted at prime collecting times! Of course you whingers all tell your DM you were out till all hours doing your callbacks. I have no problems with the new scheme cos I don't mind a bit of hard work!0

In the current financial climate there are quite a few customers struggling with their debts but we the 'AGENTS' are essentially subsidising the company. They have brought in a new policy where if a customer falls behind in payments they are penalising us upto £15 depending on the state of their account. As of today I stand to lose £50 this week as I know these customers cannot pay the amounts being asked for. There are lots of people visiting C.A.B and entering Iva's debt management etc which are outwith our control yet they see fit to still go ahead with this draconian measure. Lots of people are unhappy with this and we appear to be helpless and unable to stop this. Does anyone have any advice they could possibly give?
Hi, I am an agent myself and have contacted CAB and lots of other companies, i was told to get a civil law solicitor if i wanted to take it further, however this is going to cost me, so i suppose we just gotta take it on the chin, wrong i know but can't see what other choice we have0 -

In my experience most of the moronic baboons that come up with ideas like the current system are very defensive of them and won't budge or listen to logical reason. To do so would undermine THEIR idea and as such they would have to admit it was wrong or seriously flawed at best and can often results in a career crash for them when it all goes tits up, so they hang on to the twisted idea to the grime death, be it their careers death or the death of the company.
I wish you the very best of luck with your email but for gods sake don't hold your breath waiting for the change of heart.0 -

How about someone starting a Facebook page to encourage ALL agents, Provi and Greenwoods to all go ill for a week at the same time. Im sure the customers would spread the word to agents. The threat of this and the massive amount of lost revenue will have the bosses quaking in their shiny boots. You know how the DMs are always pushing for more sales and collections. It would worry them no end. Just imagine, no money coming in for a week!!! I dont know how to do this on facebook but if someone out there could do it, im sure it would put the point across. Thanks Jane.
Great idea, however the agents do not stick together, the !!!!!!!s need to be taken to court, have you looked at your contract ?0 -
It has just occured to me that a customer taking out a 33 week loan is less likely to miss 6, 9 payments than a customer taking out a 55 week loan, and so on - this is flawed simply because of the ratio. Perhaps you should all demand this be addressed?0

Perhaps babyape is that manager who used to be an agent, which may explain these comments. A difficult position to be in if working in the same office as agents you used to have the same viewpoint as and have considered as friends ?0
