Blimey! In that case I vote that your OH makes dinner. I couldn't be bothered with all that "can't" or "won't" eat business.0

i often go through this on here! he cooks too much, wastes food, eats food that you would see in a greasy 1950s caff. he cooked a roast dinner yesterday, chicken was dried out and meat dessicated, he put the potatoes on after the chicken was cooked so it was cold. poured out a whole pyrex bowl of frozen peas (for 2 people)
he is a disaster in the shopping or cooking areas, its a no go im afraid. if i dont cook something he likes, he will simply go down the corner shop and buy greasy, fatty sugary crap and he is diabetic so its not an option
i have some cooked potatoes, could i put these with the lamb in a type of loaf thing? i like the taco/wrap idea but dont want to buy anything else at the moment and we havent got any in.0 -
Moroccan Lamb?
Fry up onion, garlic and aubergine with the lamb mince, use mixed spice and ground cinnamon for flavouring, add rice and enough water needed for the rice, so its sort of a risotto mix. Add chopped tomatoes before serving - We have this with a mixed salad and chiabatta (sp!):j Mortgage Free!! )Generally trying to cut back where possible :j0 -
how about lamb kebab, from the takeaway secret book?. just like one you buy, with pitta and fresh salad yum !0

I may have had bad luck or exercised bad judgement in the past but I've found that generally when men won't eat the kinds of things you have listed what they really mean is that a dinner as far as they are concerned needs to be a hunk of meat, some spuds and maybe, just maybe some sprinkling of veg as a garnish.
Serve that lamb up as a rissole of some kind.0 -

i like this idea. tonight ive cooked what we call bubble and squeak, which is 200g of the minced lamb, fresh toms, brown sauce, onions, thyme, garlic, shredded cabbage and boiled pots all mushed up, baked in the oven, its lovely, so i want something not too similar but just as nice0 -
