    We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
    Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Quick update. My Child Benefit (due Tuesday) is in my RBS account today, with Tuesday's date next to it, but showing as cleared funds. :j

    Also with natwest and the dla, incapacity & child benefit all due on tuesday have cleared today
    september wins - toshiba laptop, timotei shampoo & conditioner, mccains games, pimms picnic blanket.
    october wins - grants tumblers, £20 petrol voucher, sega console, iphone
    novembers wins - £50 on walkers rainy day, £50 itunes voucher
    march wins - dog treats

    I did speak to child benefit yesterday re another matter and she said my next payment for cb is 29th, i reminded her of the dreadful bank holiday and she said oh yes that means it will paid on 28th instead.

    Inhad m first sign on on Tuesday... How long might it actually take to get some money????? They at the job centre said 3 or 4 days, but weren't forthcoming when I mentioned bank holidays.

    Sorry but going all the way to town to find out I still have no cash is just too depressing.

    I'm really annoyed. I was made redundant 5 wks ago and had my 2nd signing on date on the 22nd march it's now the 29th march and although its good friday i still don't have any money in my account. I also have had nothing back regarding help with my mortgage or council tax. It's a joke that no one helps you. Can any one advise?

    you would be better to start your own thread, this is from a long while ago!
