I still think it's why. From a software developers perspective they fudged in the £100 max spend per month per e-mail (household) and then the £20 max in one go, but the software was never built around that logic.
So the £100 max spend is based on an uncapped amount logic and never been fixed (let's be honest - why would they bother when there's only us DTD experts that it will probably affect). I've been stung by it so I am cautious now to ensure that me and my 'cohorts' aren't similiarly screwed over in the futurenana's_no1_boy wrote: »think this is why im still waiting for the dread email because i knw i am £4.?? over and no voucher hth0 -

I believe https://www.blood.co.uk are running short of Blood stocks due to a new type Wolf Blass positive. Not sure what truth is in the rumour.
On a more serious note, if you do give blood, make sure you do soon, because of the Easter hols. :TAsk me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
Come on admit it. Be honest, who has lost a receipt or left it at the till, since this promotion has began.
I've left one. A nice £20 plus one
Anybody else want to be part of the plonkers club?
If you haven't, name your most embarrassing moment. Like the cashier girl was your niece or something just as crazy :rotfl:
I left a shopping list, which is printed out from my home spreadsheet, had multiple shopping lists on it as well as the existing voucher value and the expected new voucher value!!!
I sent hubby back in to rescue it!0 -
Maybe a copy of THE spreadsheet should be left in Asda...0

Tonight I got a bit of a grilling the usual stuff numbers dont match, but tonight it was a bit different they wanted to see my club card which I did not have on me, my receipt I presented with the voucher I did use my club card on and it had my clubcard numbers on it, anyway talking to the supervisor it turns out they got a memo about matching clubcard numbers on the receipt to actual clubcards (so she said), anyway all turned out well in the end after phoning customer services,
But I thought I would share a point of law (I could be wrong on this but I think I am right?)
If you use a womble and it has someone else's clubcard numbers and you make a claim on it by presenting it as your own you run the risk of a criminal offence by obtain goods by deception as its very easy for them to trace the owner of the receipt
My advice is if you womble make sure its a "clean one" its not worth risking getting nicked for.
Hope this advice is of some use and in the words of Phil Esterhaus from Hill Street Blues "And let's be careful out there"

Most embarrassing moment? Definitely my nemesis supervisor, shouting very loudly on the alcohol aisle:
"Oh, not you! You've not come in to fleece us again, have you?!"
Cue quick-sharp exit from alcohol to tills to pay.

In all seriousness though, do you see the point I'm trying to make? People can do whatever they like, I don't really care, but IF Mr T did decide to make an example of someone to put others off then there are a few sitting ducks on this forum.
Someone said it would take more than a couple of calls to get the true ID of a poster on this forum. Maybe so, but it would be quite easy anyway. All the info needed is logged at every stage on the servers.
Do you really think that after years and years of protecting and fighting for peoples rights Mr Lewis would just hand over the details after a couple of calls, people who think this way should leave this forum straight away.
Do or Would Mr T take the expense and bad publicty to stop the abuse with such a high profile action after the week they just had ?
I do DTD everyday and i'm worried because every time i get to the till, they dont know what to do and it seems i'm the only one doing it, but hey london is a big place with Mr T's everywhere.
Your going to draw attention if your only paying 50p, so dont be greedy pay a fiver or more your still getting £20 off and if like me you max it thats £20 - £25 for £100 's of shopping.
Dont use a clubcard and pay cash its posted over and over again.
Why do people believe it when people post this is over, thats over, ive been caught your gonna be caught blah blah blah.
Everytime a offer comes up like this out come the doom and gloom merchants, they been saying it about clubcard for years.
I see myself as a modern day Robin Hood i rob from the rich..Mr T, give to the poor...Me and my Neighbour ( i shop for them too)0 -
Sorry to be blunt but your advice is 'er C***,
MSE arent going to release their logs without a court order.
ISP's probably wont release their logs even with a court order.
It would be a civil matter so the police wouldnt involve themselves any way.
If the fraud squad come calling at MSE/ISP, do you really think they would withhold the headers from the TCP/IP logs when asked for them in relation to a fraud investigation?
This is all very hypothetical and in reality would probably never happen. I was making the point that people should be careful what they write, that's all, just in case.0 -
Mr T are still getting used to THE spreadsheet - I think ASDA are more advanced0
