  • Sorry for me being a bit dim but why would you choose a fake name when originally setting up your info on the site to ask advice on combi washing machine/dryers deals and condensing dryers???

Why not? I can chose whatever name I like (apart from my real one of course!). I'm assuming you are not actually named "Simon 31 Leeds".

As you have had a good look at my postings you will see that I have always tried to be helpful at every opportunity. I was not asking for advice on those threads but giving it. Same goes for tonight.

My friend was once banned from Tesco when they allowed people to use coupons against their shopping. I called Tesco HO to ask if the store manager could ban her as she was a shareholder and they said "yes" as it was upto each store manager who could come onto their property as each store was classed as private property.

yes one of my local store managers did this when this all started i heard him telling someone that a customer had spent a voucher and £5 and got £60 worth of goods didnt give any more detail, the manager had followed him out and told him he didnt want his custom anymore ,
  • Fair cop - it's true - I haven't got a double-barrelled surname - you can just call me Mr Leeds ;)

HIM! dtdsearcher, has mentioned he is a bloke!!!

I wonder if the Tesco manager would have treated a female with a child the same. Keeping someone there for 2-3 hours is inexcusable IMHO.

Dtsearcher was there at his own will. He was asked to go out the back and he didn't object. At no time was he forced. Personally I would only stay in full view of others.

If he was doing so many shops they were probably on to him by his gift card seeking complaints or his clubcard sudden balance expansion

I am not actively within the spirit of the scheme as I am trying to get as much as I can but I am not using my clubcard. Some people are but it may leave a trail.

The moral of tonight's story is if you are going to act outside of the spirit of the scheme, do it quietly and leave as few trails as possible.

And don't stay 3 hours behind closed doors

Just having a quick look at the SS to see if there is anything I want to nip in for tomorrow and noticed Philadelphia is showing at £1.75. It was marked down to £1 in my main Tesco store yesterday so may be worth checking.
I hate the stuff but bought it for family who love it. Anyway I noticed a big £1 SEL too but realised pretty quickly that it was for a different size pack - the one on the SS is fine (confirmed today). Check the barcode on the product with the SEL if you're worried.

No offence, but I feel some people like making up stories. I remember the same type in school who lied for no reason. Have to say, I don't believe everything I read on this thread.

    I agree.

You can read any story but sometimes your heart doesn't feel it's real

    Some people attention seek
