But I thought I would share a point of law (I could be wrong on this but I think I am right?)
If you use a womble and it has someone else's clubcard numbers and you make a claim on it by presenting it as your own you run the risk of a criminal offence by obtain goods by deception as its very easy for them to trace the owner of the receipt
My advice is if you womble make sure its a "clean one" its not worth risking getting nicked for.
Hope this advice is of some use and in the words of Phil Esterhaus from Hill Street Blues "And let's be careful out there"
Last week I got home from a shop and went to enter my reciept details when I noticed a clubcard account on the receipt, I make a point of not using my clubcard, and this was not my clubcard number anyway, so we assumed the SA must have used his own card to get the points from my shop!!!...so how would I have been able to explain that one if I'd been questioned!!!0 -

I believe www.blood.co.uk are running short of Blood stocks due to a new type Wolf Blass positive. Not sure what truth is in the rumour.

I lost a receipt to a voucher last week for £20. I refused to throw it...so I gave the poor young lad at the tills 6 vouchers(petty ones from wombled receipts) and receipts in a bundle and when it came to him asking for the receipt for the £20 voucher...
SA; 'Have you got the receipt for this one?'
Me; *Surprised look* 'What? I gave them all to you...' *pretends to search on counter*
SA; *looks petrified and starts looking on the floor* 'Oh, er, um ok, er..' *Scans* '...16p to pay please'
Genius!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Where is it you get all this info from? If you take £1 or £1 million pound, by deception, it is Fraud. There is nothing in Statute that says that you can 'rob' a bit.
Most on this thread are playing a game with Tesco, and they are playing a game with the consumer. I'm certainly not defrauding anybody, whether it is a £1 or a £1 million.
It is an allegation of fraud if Tesco contact the police and ask them to investigate a possible fraud. They would not do that for £1 but they would for £1 million.
You are obviously another with poor eyesight as I never said people shouldn't DO it, just don't TALK about it on an internet forum.0 -
I have only had one voucher reffered to customer services. The supervisor was on the phone for about 3 minutes. I started to get bored and decided to just walk away.
The supervisor did not know what to do. She has no authority over me , for DTDSearcher staying in the store for 3 hours seems remarkable....
DTDSearcher posts - which MSE savvy dtd shopper is going to go through the back for a 'wee private chat' when there are plenty other Tesco's close by? which 'normal' shopper would accept being treated this way? anyone would just leave the shopping and leave the store - quick smart!!!
Happy shopping for sat everyone:)[/QUOTE]0 -

If someone is using a new email address every day to do 5 shops then potentially they could be making £3000/month. That is fraud.
If the fraud squad come calling at MSE/ISP, do you really think they would withhold the headers from the TCP/IP logs when asked for them in relation to a fraud investigation?
This is all very hypothetical and in reality would probably never happen. I was making the point that people should be careful what they write, that's all, just in case.
2) there are plenty of forum members here and on PTS who have had Mr T's threat of legal action.
3) plenty of people have taken Mr T to the small claims court and won their case when their clubcard points have been takern back.
like all T&C's they are full of holes, i.e
whats the defeniton of a household, plenty of people live in shared dwellings.
only 4 a month per email address, it does not say you can only use one address.
It says total £100 a month yet 4 emails x £20 is £80.
James Robertson 1963 you should take a leaf from your last words and BE CAREFULL WHAT YOU WRITE.
Everyone google TESCO CALL IN FRAUD SQUAD his post is number 6 on my search list :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0
