Well since I have not been reusing my vouchers to get more DTD vouchers I have amassed £75 worth of vouchers from an £85 spend. :rotfl:
Since I normally spend about £10-15 a week on food, I will be able to loads and loads of food that will probably last me for the rest of the summer. :T

old trout say today, you realise that because you used a voucher to pay for this vodka and got it cheap, then you wont be able to input the receipt to get another voucher, i am acting all innocent, i said oh? whys that? she said well the computer will know and reject it and it wont allow you to get another voucher, I said oh thats a shame and pretending i knew nowt about it, skipped home and inputted my reciept
I don't know where these staff come from (I blame Tesco training). There is no mention in Price Check T's & C's stating that you can't this0 -

OMG that took me about half an hour of wondering what outdoor products were DTD before I :o.

I'm now petrified to go back and use my vouchers with the receipt saying i'd paid with a coupon and really am wondering if its worth the bother!
they dont lose any sleep about over charging people so dont let them get to you..
this is THEIR offer as they claim to be the cheapest.. if there not it not your fault is it..
and if they was really concerned they would soon alter the prices..
but for every 1 person getting the moeny back on a dtd theres 100s or 1000s paying the full amount so its win win for them...0 -

Greetings, fellow DTDers! Decided it was time to come out of lurkdom, as this thread (indeed, whole MSE website) has been SO helpful to us. Heartfelt thanks to all who keep the info. flowing, and updating the brilliant SS ....
A small addition from me, don't think it's been mentioned yet:

I personally like to keep my receipts as I always pay on card. a few years back I was charged 1p more by my credit card company compared to the transaction value. when I called them to inform them of their mistake, they were adamant that it was not possible. when I sent a copy of my receipt, they refunded the 1p but still wouldn't admit it could happen. to me, it was the principle of it all, so I always check receipts to my statement. imagine if it was £1 and it happened to every one of their customers!0

I wombled a receipt yesterday which came back with a voucher for £1.04 which I gave to my son (aged 8). I think i've been spending too much time recently talking about DTD because he asked me "what can I buy with this mummy to make it grow?". So i gave him a 30p of betty crocker voucher as well and directed him to the pancake mix which then cost him 15p after all vouchers.
When I told him in the car that it would now get him a voucher for £2.48 he was very excited and I've advised him to spend that on cornettos in order to get £3 back. :j
When i got home and explained this all to hubby he looked distinctly unimpressed - do you think perhaps I've got a bit obsessed?0 -
