Only just got back from shopping with my mum and we got stuck in a jam on the way home.
yea all the time.. i tend to stick couple in when i get back in teh day then leave couple for the night time and always seem to forget till late like now.. still come through tho0 -
I wombled a receipt yesterday which came back with a voucher for £1.04 which I gave to my son (aged 8). I think i've been spending too much time recently talking about DTD because he asked me "what can I buy with this mummy to make it grow?". So i gave him a 30p of betty crocker voucher as well and directed him to the pancake mix which then cost him 15p after all vouchers.
When I told him in the car that it would now get him a voucher for £2.48 he was very excited and I've advised him to spend that on cornettos in order to get £3 back. :j
When i got home and explained this all to hubby he looked distinctly unimpressed - do you think perhaps I've got a bit obsessed?"You've got to cut your cloth to suit your wassname" Terry (my Dad), 1944-present0 -

I have read this thread for a while and have had 2 failed attempts at doing a DTD shop!
However, suceeded in getting 2 x £20ish vouchers back via the lamb and wolf blass!
Went into 1 Twsco today proud as punch to use them, used the 1st one, manager was called to verify it and i was told she had to verify every voucher that came in. she commented on it being such a big value and waited for my response, i just looked vacant! I decided not to go round the store again to get my 2nd vouchers worth of DTD there, as i thought she would come back to verify, then refuse me!
went to my 2nd Tesco to use remaining voucher, put DTD shop through, tried to use my voucher, was told i had to go to customer services, had to cart my shopping over there, they made several phone calls, before taking my voucher, explaining in a very deliberate manner that they had to go through these checks now as people were abusing the system and working out how to get £20 back! I think i went bright red and just muttered something like "jeez, how can they do that?!" she didnt look impressed with me, and that was with me using a receipt without an already used coupon on it!
I'm now petrified to go back and use my vouchers with the receipt saying i'd paid with a coupon and really am wondering if its worth the bother!0 -
