Phew, caught up at last!
Had my first scary experience tonight. Deliberately picked a young lad to use my voucher with but he didn't know what to do with it and called for help. (I think I heard a beep as he tried to scan it and then said he couldn't do it - this is slightly worrying). Got taken to CS who uhmmed and ahhed and eventually found a phone number for head office after ringing store manager. Amongst their private conversations I'm sure I heard when it's scanned it knows! (This is not a fraudulent voucher btw, but I had used a different voucher in another store earlier- hence why the failed scan was worrying). After an age on the phone to HO and alot of receipt scrutiny etc, CS lady was fine and apologised for the (long) delay. Nobody checked my e-mail addy with me but I will be avoiding this store with vouchers for a fair while now. I stood looking around as though I was without a care in the world, absolutely cakking myself inside. I'm losing my nerve!
No new dtds to report, had no vouchers today as no shops yesterday. Finally getting OH on board as I generously gave a voucher to buy Cds with (some good 2 for £12 deals on chart CDs at the moment). Obviously no dtd back on these though. Hope the L'oreal revitalift works, may try tomorrow if I can convince OH to take me to another T's.0 -

Me and my kids have done 6 shops in the last 2 days... 4 times not even asked for receipt, once asked for and given back to me and other one asked for and signed and given back.
Of the 6 cashiers 2 of them still had never seen a voucher before!!

I noticed in both shops I visited today, that all the adverts on the Pricecheck promotion are gone. They used to have them around the tills and hanging from the celings, etc. I wonder if this is a sign they are preparing to pull the plug.0
