Had my first jobsworth about 30 minutes ago................very amusing. Handed voucher over to till bod and she gave me a funny look (this one was only £17.** too! lol) shouted at the top of her voice for the manager bod. Manager bod came over, gave me the required funny look, then looked at the voucher and receipt and again, loudly proclaimed her wonderment at how i'd managed to get one for £17 and then pointed out that i'd used a voucher on the last shop to get that one too. Honestly, I wasn't even remotely embarrassed (which is of course what they are hoping for) and actually got quite annoyed and pointed out that I spend circa £8,000 in shopping and fuel with Tesco a year, but because i've bought something that turns out to be cheaper at ASDA and have the "gaul" to claim it back on Tesco's widely publicised campaign, that somehow that gives Tesco workers the right to try to make me feel uncomfortable when paying for my goods...............she left, lol.

Just to add, they are now keeping all old receipts in my local stores, seems to be the new unofficial policy.

they've started keeping receipts in my local stores too!!

    SPREADSHEET ADDITION?

***DEAL TO BE CONFIRMED*** (tomorrow evening)

SKIMMED MILK (red lid) / 568ml (1 pint)
    PRICE TESCO £0.48
    PRICE ASDA £0.45
    DTD £0.06
NET COST AFTER REFUND £ 0.42

Was buying this milk in Tesco tonight (previously had been a price match), noticed the price increase when I got home. Have checked website of both Asda and Tesco and this 1 pint size seems to have increased for all variations of this size in Tesco. Therefore maybe useful to know if you need to avoid it to stop you going over the cap - or cause you need some and 6p won't hurt your total

I bought semi skimmed last night and it came back confirmed today 0.48 0.45 better than nothing!!:)

So the spreadsheet is going viral now!!!

When this happened with the R&R, the promo didn't last long after when every man and Jack jumped on the bandwagon - perhaps this is what Tesco expect anyway?

I've entered two vouchers with the same email address today - have I messed up?

Not as long as these two don't take you over the £100 monthly limit. You are allowed to submit more than one claim per day - but not 'spend' more than one voucher per day (if you are sticking to the rules).

They cannot do that...the receipt is yours....it is actually unlawful
  • I popped in to sainsburys tonight and got a £2 off £20 spend voucher out of the self service counter. Am I allowed to use this in tesco's please?

different stores have different policies. I'm lucky my local one will sometimes take sainsbury's & co-op ones :)
best thing to do is ask at one of the tills or at CS before you do your shop
