Tesco/Asda Pricechecker Thread - part 4

Thought I'd report I'd used my vouchers today for the first time in Trowbridge Large store.

I used the first one upstairs combined with the double up doo dahs to get the DD's urgently needed new school uniform. Lovely sales assist up there was impressed with the voucher value, apologised that she could only use one per transaction and asked if I wanted to split the shopping up so I could use the other one I had in my purse. I politely declined and gave her the clubcard double up thingies and handed over NO cash.

Down stairs I used another voucher for my groceries and the nice lad scanned it asked if I needed it back in case I wanted to return anything as I may need it with the receipt??? I politely declined and said I think you need to keep it as it's a coupon/voucher.

I was getting quite worried after seeing some of the posts on here about frosty reception from staff.

Will post details of any DTD's tomorrow once confirmed.

with regard to the email addresses, I use mailexpire. it produces you a random temporary email address. ideal for things like this or when you want to sign up to a site and are worried about the amount of spam you might get. you can kill the email address at any time.

I popped in to sainsburys tonight and got a £2 off £20 spend voucher out of the self service counter. Am I allowed to use this in tesco's please?
