But........what if you are one of the people NOT doing anything wrong and are still being subjected to Tesco Gestapo tactics?

This is so wrong for a company the size of Tesco and the fact that their business is driven by the general public.

Agreed... the people adhering to the T&Cs shouldn't be getting in the neck from Mr T, but lets be honest about it most are not, and having a bit of hassle from a jumped up suit is well worth the ten wasted minutes in your day.

    Afternoon everyone!

As this thread moves quickly I think (hope) the issues have passed over now but just a reminder - the way you respond to others, whether trolls or not, shows as much about you as it does about them.

If you feel someone's posted something reportable please report it and ignore. If you continue replying and quoting you just make things worse and give us more work.

    Thanks!

    Andrea :)

For some obscure reason, I felt it may be an idea to bump this for those who missed it earlier.

The spreadsheet team have been working hard today, to try and make it a bit easier for you. The old deals are now being deleted, rather than being crossed out, and those deals which are awaiting confirmation, are gradually being moved to a section of their own.

To add to this, many items that have not been confirmed within 7 days or so will also be deleted, unless it is an item that is not bought often.

The idea is to get the good deals to share with us all as soon as possible.
Here's a few items that have yet to be confirmed, and if aren't within the next few days will be deleted.

Hope this meets with your approval.

So the spreadsheet is going viral now!!!

When this happened with the R&R, the promo didn't last long after when every man and Jack jumped on the bandwagon - perhaps this is what Tesco expect anyway?

I've also noticed it has appeared today on a couple of forums I frequent, too. I only talked about the viral possibility yesterday and I'm now going to guess that this'll all be over within a week. Don't kill me for saying it, but I've always said the spreadsheet would be the death of the deal if (or when) it went viral.
did my shop today & the SA called over supervisor to authorise the coupon because 'they aren't allowed to do them any more'
Also noticed that my till receipt says 'NS TESCO/SUPPLIE 20.00' on it & not coupon 20.00 (as on previous receipts)

was in a tesco I don't usually visit ... be interesting to see what they do in my local one when I get to do a shop there in few days time

That means they've put it through as a 'Non-Scan' (whatever that means) rather than a 'Coupon'. Nothing to worry about.
For some obscure reason, I felt it may be an idea to bump this for those who missed it earlier.

But MSE said in the Weekly Email that this thread wasn't monitored? All Tesco have to do is see a Mod requesting chat is kept on topic before they can threaten MSE with further action and get the thread taken down.

(That was a bit of a downbeat post from me - sorry! :D)

Everything you say is correct if you stick to one voucher a day and £100 per month.... most people (i suggest 95%) on here are doing many more than one voucher a day and miles more than the £100 a month limit...hence breaking the T&C's.

    So they are doing wrong!!!

The terms state you can't claim up to £100 OR 10 per month per household.

My parents and my sister don't live with me or each other but I check their receipts for them. They don't have a PC but I have set up their own email addresses.

If I am checking receipts for 3 different households and checking 1 receipt everyday for 30 days. I am within the T's & C's

The limit of 10 vouchers or £100 per month fair use is for claiming. This would not stop me going into Tesco everyday for 30 days with 1 voucher to spend be it my mum's, sister's or mine.

I am still within the fair use policy and it is not wrong.
