For anyone else who wants the rest ordered by 'savings' give me a hollar for the 'lazy' people.

Some people need to get off their high horse... just cause you can coble together an excel spreadsheet doesn't make you god lol.

I won't quote my qualifications, and IT experience, firstly because I don't feel the need to (like some) and secondly it doesn't help the harmony on here.

The downloadable spreadsheet was offline for a few days because we were all too busy updating the live spreadsheet, and it took more time to create this one.

After a few requests I decided I'd start updating the downloadable one again. Updated twice - in the last 11 hours and probably another 1/2 dozen times today.

It is available in excel and most of us can read it fine. Some of the older versions of excel might merge cells, but mine all appears okay. In any case it is a guide.

I'm sorry if it doesn't suit you. If you have any other format, that you'd like to update 12 times a day with your super IT skills, please feel free to upload the links.

I used my very first voucher this morning...what a terrible experience!

The man on the checkout shouted over to the manager who came storming over. They then spent a couple of minutes pouring over it while I went bright red.

The stroppy checkout manageress then said "this isnt valid as the details aren't the same.." she was talking about the 24 hour clock....

then about 5 of them had a conversation about whether they were vaild or not, then they voided my shop and sent me over to Customer services who had to put it all through again. The same checkout manageress served me over there and I was so embarrased by this point I mumbled "Dont bother I wont use the voucher then" so she said "Ok thats alright then" and asked me for the full amount....then i got a bit cross and thought I should be more assertive and said "actually no, I do want to use the voucher" then someone else came over and told her to just put it through.

Whole process took about 15 minutes!

what an embarrasment.....made me feel like a criminal, but I had got the 20 voucher from a genuine weekly food shop with some kids clothes thrown in...not even a deliberate DTD shop!!

Anyone else had an experience like this?? I have another £5.20 voucher to spend but Im scared to go back now!

Is this what happens when you download now? Its not much good without prices. But its easy to adapt.
My shop is never that large so I just highlight what I'm looking for that day, add a few extras just in case and then copy to notepad. Simple. I do that because I'm not keen taking the whole ss with me- don't want to draw attention.
For those who edit the ss- remember for everyone who complains there are scores who appreciate everything done.
Remember the ss editors are not in one room and it has to be done in a way that it is the easiest for them. ( I have recently given up helping on another forum and I know how you feel when you get negatives- but the positives more than outweigh them)

While im sure everyone appreciates your work this is a collaborated effort. Close the spreadsheet and anyone could reopen one.. in fact at the start there were 3 different spreadsheets... and on PTS there is another on there along with a website.. that actually automatically does what all of you do (yep... thats cool eh?)

Dont get me wrong its good what you doing, but threats are meaningless, there are alternate sources available and you stop someone else will start again with the latest copy of this spreadsheet.

You can't contain something like this nor own it, just like viral videos on youtube. Theres enough people on here with excel experience and with free hosting from google easy peasy.

But that aside the fact you are doing it and not someone else is cause to thank you, just pointing ouy delusions of grandeur or threats wont work with this, so be happy and have a nice day too
