Personally in our house, both me and OH work for the NHS, they have freezed our pay for the next two years, not paying us for the extra public holiday this month and various other ways of cutting our money. I can't imagine these supermarkets will be freezing their prices for the next 2 years. Therefore I will be watching what I buy from where, and using my vouchers to stock up, whilst I can save some money.
Thank you to everyone on here for your advice and of course to all those who sort out the amazing ss! You really are appreciated!Oh no total not enough for voucher.......quick run..go find something...come onlook harder...your holding up the ques..just grab something..anything everyones looking....0 -

Well I'm telling you all now - suggestions to the SS layout, format, functionality are OK - complaining about it in a way that the admins (who work very hard in their own time!!!) then get upset by, is not helping. If this continues I will restrict the SS to only those with admin rights.
This will then hamper the genuine people on this thread who are attempting to make some nice extras out of Tesco.
Get a grip; enjoy this promotion and the hard work done by others for YOU!
Have a great day, and don't forget to post in nice big red letters, any new deals to make our life a little easier, so yours is a lot easier!
MAD V. :mad:i'm now very upset by people thinking that i was being rude when all i wanted to know was why it changed & saying that i found it easier the way it was. as with writing anything on these forums things can come across in a way that the person who is writing it didn't mean & this is what's happened in this case
i appreciate all the hard work people do on the ss :beer: Happy Bargain Hunting!! :beer:0 -

I hope that doesn't make me sound daft.
thanks for the advice thou, I shall bear that in mind this afternoon.
Doesn't make you sound daft at all. I only buy what I need also but am now buying branded goods rather than value. I just didn't want you getting caught out.0 -
Elenathion wrote: »Just a quick bit of advice, you should always check everything on Asda's site before you go shopping. If something has changed overnight and noone has noticed then you could buy something that there is no longer any DTD on. This is what happened with the treasure eggs when Asda raised the price for one day only. Noone noticed and lots of people were caught out.
Re the treasure eggs, they didn't go up on the Asda site! I checked twice on Monday and they were still 3 for £3 on Asda but bought Monday night and Tesco simply lied and said they were £6 on Asda.
That's irrelevant now though and 99% of the time, checking Asda prices on the day keeps you safe from surprisesIf a post is helpful to you, please take a second to click "thanks", it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside!0 -

Try to get your cat to eat at least some cat food. Cats need Taurine, there's none in dog food... she might be okay now, but not as she ages without it. Also if you feed only dry, get her to eaty one wet food meal a week, to avoid bladder stones
I'm now worrying... my cat only has dry food with the odd table scrap... it sounds like I should start giving her wet food once a week right? She is 11 and has recently been having digestion problems (started being sick every time she ate)... vets put her on a special dry sensitive diet which seemed to work but can't afford that in the long run so have switched her to Whiskas senior and she seems better but still seems stressed when she has to use her litter tray!If a post is helpful to you, please take a second to click "thanks", it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside!0 -
Once again guys if you wanna waste your time squabbling maybe you should do it via pm ? so the rest of us dont have to trawl past your posts to find new deals cheers x;)0
