Personally in our house, both me and OH work for the NHS, they have freezed our pay for the next two years, not paying us for the extra public holiday this month and various other ways of cutting our money. doing this has been better than xmas for my teens,i dont even buy pop as cant afford to each week xmas and birthdays is normally the only time my kids see pop so there so happy at the moment,and the cheese dippers baby bells i only get them when they are on offer.

Well I'm telling you all now - suggestions to the SS layout, format, functionality are OK - complaining about it in a way that the admins (who work very hard in their own time!!!) then get upset by, is not helping. If this continues I will restrict the SS to only those with admin rights.

sorry if my comments came across that way i'm now very upset by people thinking that i was being rude when all i wanted to know was why it changed & saying that i found it easier the way it was. as with writing anything on these forums things can come across in a way that the person who is writing it didn't mean & this is what's happened in this case

i appreciate all the hard work people do on the ss :beer:

Doesn't make you sound daft at all. I only buy what I need also but am now buying branded goods rather than value. I just didn't want you getting caught out.

Re the treasure eggs, they didn't go up on the Asda site! I checked twice on Monday and they were still 3 for £3 on Asda but bought Monday night and Tesco simply lied and said they were £6 on Asda.

That's irrelevant now though and 99% of the time, checking Asda prices on the day keeps you safe from surprises

:eek::eek::eek: Didn't see the original post but is that someone who feeds their cat dog food? I've always been told by vets that dogs can eat cat food but to never ever let a cat eat dog food!

I'm now worrying... my cat only has dry food with the odd table scrap... it sounds like I should start giving her wet food once a week right? She is 11 and has recently been having digestion problems (started being sick every time she ate)... vets put her on a special dry sensitive diet which seemed to work but can't afford that in the long run so have switched her to Whiskas senior and she seems better but still seems stressed when she has to use her litter tray!

Mine is on its final spin now, hoping to get it out before it rains? Not looking good here!

Need to take the kids somewhere cheap and entertaining, possibly in the rain... Hello Mr T... I might even let them have a treat whilst we are there!!!!
