Done levels 1,2&3. Kitchen was looking great but DD has just finished straining and bottling the perfume she made yesterday from petals and rosemary, so I'll start again soonish! No sign of book as yet...

Rain has arrived, how the weather can change in a few hours. I've done an online food shop with nearly all stuff I use on offer, free delivery and 25% off next week so happy about that. I'll pop and get some fruit when I take DS1 in a bit as i like to choose my own. To the floor first though.

Welcome Knittingcathy and Miss Orangey Goodness
Decluttering question (well sort of decluttering)

If you are the only child of only children and have no descendants what do you do with all the paperwork etc. from your late parents and grandparents?

Part of me feels I do not have the right to get rid of it - which another part of me knows is daft as, at some point in the future, someone else will bin it all anyway.

    Daft bint aren't I :o
That's made me think, y'know, as I also am the end of the line. Although my parents weren't only children, none of their siblings or cousins had children, so I'm the last.

It's also further complicated by the fact that I'm estranged from my family, so gods alone know what will happen to any papers and such like; I know my father died in 2005, (I heard via a friend of a friend, and confirmed it via ancestry.co.uk a couple of years later), but I've no idea if my mother's still alive.

I just hope no-one ever catches up to me to dump that sort of stuff on me, I can do without the hassle/responsibility.

Anyways - to more practical matters:
