What do you feed your dog apart from tinned food?

Got a reply. There's 12.5% salmon meat meal. The fresh salmon will only add about 5% meat so very low meat content in the food.

I feed mine half Burns Lamb and Rice dried food and half home-cooked moist food, all mixed up with a blob of live yoghurt on top. He did very well on 100% dried Burns for years but I wanted him to have a bit more variety and texture. He gets brown rice, turkey, beef mince, carrots and green beans - I cook it in the pressure cooker once a week and freeze it in 7 plastic containers. He loves it.

Was a bit irritated by the Vet who defended IAMS, no doubt he sells it in his practice. It was many years ago now, but I read about one particular test where they split a dog's leg bone open to test the bone strength and I've hated them ever since. Maybe they don't do such things anymore, but mud sticks.
