I haven't done a thing today, apart from the very basics. I've been out almost all day shopping with my mum and my feet are killing me.

However, tomorrow is a new day, and as my son didn't hang out the washing today, which was washed last night, it's all going to have to be re-rinsed as it'll start to go off by the time it gets hung out or hung up. :o

I'm determined to get things done tomorrow - in shortish bursts of 15 minutes. I work better that way,

Welcome ex trolley - sounds like you have your hands full with family, but sounds as though you are taking big baby steps.

Today paperwork was further tidied, and I found the benefit when I was able to instantly file a bill in the correct box :j. I now have a landing full of recycling (magazines and old paper that doesn't need shredding). The next job is to clear the landing :rotfl:maybe if I move the mess along in front of me towards the front door it will eventually all leave the house altogether.

Made bread tonight, fed snakes (they were happy to see me with dinner) and now just chilling before bed.

Rain didn't arrive so happy because washing dried, but had to lug watering cans to water newly planted out veg plants.

Hey guys and gals....Not been on for a couple of days and not had chance to catch up yet, will do in morning tho as im shattered now and should by rights be sleeping lol.

Well if im totally honest, ive not really done anything this last couple of days except have a new tattoo and chat a bloke up lol....yes i was sidetracked! But now my house is suffering lol. Ive only just manages to get through the washing that i sorted out at the weekend and ive had a quick mad half hour run round as its bin night tongiht lol. Tomorrow im determined to stay in and get it all sorted,

Oh dear....ive got my washing machine on at the min and its making some very strange noises, its keeps starting to spin, making a bang then stopping, then starting again...its not sounding good, it sounds real loud too.......ok scrap that its just gone silent, i think its gone kaput :( hope i can still get my washing out!!....off to investigate lol
  • Its maybe just the brushes that have gone. A handy person can change them or your local washing machine repair man should charge about £40.

    Morning messies.

Got up about 20 mins ago to let the girls out and am hoping to get a few things done this morning before taking my sons cat to the vet for his injections.

I walked into the kitchen and smiled to myself because it is so clean and gleaming :T

Taliahmai, i hope you washing machine hasn't died on you. What tatoo did you have done?

Right onwards and upwards...........well i'd like to go upwards to my bed at this awful hour of the morning .

Hope everyone has a good day today

:D Although I was a knackered woman held upright by stubbornness more than energy last night, I did get around to cleaning that blessed stovetop. Annoying thing is, once I got a sponge and washing up liquid on it, it took no time at all. :o To think of all the energy I've spent procrastinating..........:rotfl:It's a gas stove and the pan supports are oblong, meaning there are 2, each covering 2 burners, which means the ruddy things don't fit in the sink. They needed a good soak but the sink was otherwise occupied so I'll soak them while I go to work, or at least soak the bit that'll fit in the sink, then come home, re-do the water and soak the other end. Grrr!

Tell ya, if I ever buy another stove, pan supports which are small enough to fit into a washing up bowl are a MUST.

:) The craft materials I posted on Freecycle yesterday had 9 people after them, which astonished me, and made me realise how selfish I'd been hoarding them un-used. I have emailed my choice of recipient who can pick up later today so that's another carrier-bag-full off the premises. Baby steps, but I just realised that most of the things indoors arrived one bagful at a time and can escape the same way.

:) I haven't done too much this week as have been so busy that I've been in danger of meeting myself going the other way.....I want a clone to do my chores so I can goof off and live the rest of my life.

;) In order to force myself to do an alteration on garment which I've been postponing for about 3 years (whilst wearing said garment every week :o) I have started it and it's now unwearable until I finish and I need it so will have to do it in the next few days. Using my own psychgology against me....

:wave:Hello Trolly101 and any other lurkers who haven't yet posted, we want your grubby little confessions, too.

Have a great day, one and all, and someone stop hart44, she's thinking about doing some housework this morning, quick, head her off at the door........:rotfl:(get well soon, btw).

  • Hiya fellow messies - nice day for gardeningsmiley-gen042.gif
I've still got loads of catching up to do with everyone and it's a dilemna
of clearing up versus catching up mmm.... what should I do?
Look at all the new messies - :hello:confess any sins if you wish as we all understand - boy! do we understand:D
it's a great boost to know that there are quite a few peeps who are shall we say not so averse to a teensy bit of dust (only a teensy bit mind you!)
The shredder was at full pelt yesterday and does my room look any better er..... nope but there are more and more cracks of carpet space appearing and my one worktop is still clean/clear so all is well in the world of messymania
As the wet washing is still crawling along the floor to try and get to the line I'll help it along so it can enjoy the sunshine -I'm trying to do washing/shopping to day but we shall see ........
Be careful out there folks -don't do too much if your not up to it and if you are then have a good day:)
Byeeee just off for a wee bit of contemplation
