I'd love a hetty or henry. I have a dyson and it does my head in.

Washing and some shredding done this morning. A coffee refill, banking, some e-mails to send, lunch and then another attempt to get some more of my downstairs, upstairs and hope the floor doesn't give way :).

Glad the op went well Hart. Do take it easy.

    Thank you angelaf :D
I had 2 Dysons and wound not have another if you gave me one, they are rubbish :(

I have been a paid cleaner for, well lets just say a very long time :rotfl: I have worked in Centre Parcs hotel rooms and the chalets and in offices and they all have had Henry's as they are reliable and carry on picking up for years, unlike Dysons and he is cleaner to empty :D
I take my Henry to one of my homes I clean at as she has a rubbish hoover :rotfl:

:) They're about £100 or just under, angelaf. I've had mine 10+ years, Mum has hers longer. They're very simple and reliable (and they have faces!). I loathe Dysons as I think they're soooo ugly and can't see why watching your dirt spinning around is supposed to be a selling point. Doesn't float my boat, that's for sure!

Looking back on my last post here I think having being (and still) a cleaner for everyone else is the reason I CBA in my house :o

My Henry at work came with a little Henry bag too :D so I can store all the bits in it. I get my bags from Ebay as they are a good price there (MSE bit :D)

I've had mine quite a while and I bought it at the time because my nan who i lived with had very bad asthma and it was supposed to have these amazing filters that helped asthma. That may have been so but it is so messy to empty pity help anyone with asthma. Also the drum always looks stinking because if you try to wash it the water gets stuck in the crevices and you can't use it for ages. Mind you perhaps that is a plus :rotfl:

I can understand the cleaning thing. I make curtains for a living and buy mine much to my friends shock and disbelief lol!
