Morning all, well ive a busy day today so wont be back on till tonight, but hopefully ill be able to report ive got lots done!
My daughter (4) has a huge abcess (i think) come up above her top teeth so its a trip to the dentist, then its time to drop the baby off with her nana as she wants to take her shopping for the day, back down the hill and get living room cleaned up, take 4 year old to school. Then back home to start clearing my son's bedroom and take his bed out to put in my room. Measure room and nip and buy a carpet. Pick kids up from school, feed them then a mad hour taking furniture out sons room ready to decorate tomorrow. then its sons 2 and half hour judo lesson before coming home to collapse at 9pm lol. Oh im meant to be fitting an hour ina t the gym on top of that too!
anyone fancy swapping lol...im gonna be shattered tonight, as i dont drive either and live at the bottom of a huge hill...and everywhere i need to go today is at the top!! how typical lol0 -
Good morning all - all this talk of cleaning hobs and ovens hit a chord with me yesterday.
Pan supports were put in the DW. Bought them up slightly but they still need a good scrub. Attempted to clean hob with some Astonish cleaner I found in the cupboard. Plus I also found a micro fibre scrubbing cloth. Still need to use much more elbow grease to clean it though.
Oven wise - I definately need a new one. It has one heat (hot) and it looks as though it hasn`t been cleaned for years. I did give the glass door a scrub yesterday but there was no great improvement. We are hoping to replace the kitchen soon so looking forward to getting a shiny new one.
Must clear the clutter though well before that.
Have a good day everyone - whatever you decide to do.0 -
Uh oh. I've discovered something else to stop me doing housework. There's a new magazine out. It's called Mollie Makes (there's a link to some sample pages on their blog here.) It's a craft magazine and it's just like the lovely craft blogs out there. It's a bit pricey, but there is a subscription offer with the first 3 issues at only £5.
Hubby picked it up for me yesterday and I'm looking forwrd to having a good browse.0 -
Hiya all.
The last few days have been a little tough, Pulling myself out of CBA days.
But today i have managed 2 loads of washing, Dinner dishes & hoovering. I'm also planning on mopping the floors.
Oh & I have brought a new window cleaning set, So that should save us around £28 per month not paying for a window cleaner! :T
I'm glad to see that everyone is pushing along with the baby steps!
Keep up the good work everyone! :T:T

Well, amongst the mess of filing I have found some cheques for share dividends in my former name (I am ashamed to say some go back to the year 2000). In my defence we have had a turbulent few years with family bereavements, 3 major ops for me and OH also in and out of hospital. Will send them off and ask if they can be reissued so fingers crossed I have actually made some money from filing :rotfl:
Supposed to be pouring with rain today ??? so didn't leave washing out and the sun is shining. If it's still out when I ge back from shopping I will strip my bed today instead of over the w/end.
Believe me I am in no way letting down those of a messy disposition, my kitchen looks like a bomb has hit it, so that's one aim today.
Have a good day all!0 -

You could post her £1.36 worth of postage stamps, she can use those to pay for the letter when she collects it, Candy. If you do it today, she should get it tomorrow. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

well i got up today full of thoughts on what i was going to do today. I started well i did 2 baskets of ironing at 8.30am then put 1 load in dryer and another load in washer . Dishwasher is on but since then nothing. I really must move my bum.
Waiting for a call from garage car broke down yesterday on way to the outlaws so had to come back and drop it at garage.
Does anyone wanna answer my door i can see the jeovahs witness's knocking. Well i'm not answering rude or not my lounge is on the middle floor and i'm not taking my arthritic knees on the long haul up and down stairs just to say i'm not remotely interested .
