:rotfl:I would be up for a house cleaning swap :rotfl: only prob is I couldn't let anyone near my oven unless it's been turned on full blast to kill anything lurking in there so when you open the door it don't get ya :rotfl: and as for the dust :o I have a little plaque that say's ''You can touch the dust but please don't write in it'' :rotfl:

If anyone asks, the dust is there to protect the surfaces below. You are protecting your investments by not dusting!

Life is too short for obsesive dusting anyway. And life is too short to iron things.

    Morning

Have just come up for air after three full on days working. They have just wiped me out physically. Have got as far as writing a full list of everything that need doing and it's depressing to say the least.

My best friend has been made redundant and hasd offered to give me a morning of help with some of the things I just phyically cannot do at the moment. Would that be considered as cheating?

Not cheating, it's using your initiative. Or making full use of your available resources.

Extrolley101, you're doing great by concentrating on the positives to accomplish things that will help you feel like you are moving forward. It's wonderful that you have people in your life and community who want to help you - let them! And one day when you are feeling better return the favour to someone who needs it. All these things make the world go round. Keep your powder dry, my dear!

Loved the comment from GreyQueens about things cominginto the house in a bag and that they can leave the same way! Yesterday I managed to give a bag of clothing no longer needed away and the recipient was thrilled. Made both our days!

Keep at it everyone and you'll get where you want to be!

GreyQueen go to Lakeland and buy a bottle of Oven Mate. It will clean your gas hob pan supports brilliantly with very minimal effort. And the stuff is fume-free and biodegradable too. Makes me wonder now why I fussed with anything else when this stuff works a treat. Don't forget to wear gloves though!

I think I will use that excuse too KT :D when some tells me it's getting dusty here :rotfl:

I had to get the hoover out (I know dont shout at me :rotfl:) I dropped an empy jam jar on the floor, I was going to put it in the recycle box) and it shattered every where :( Im lucky I have laminate flooring so my Henry can slide over it and i didn't have to pull him (don't you just hate how Henry's grin at you :rotfl:)

Im being good now and sitting here with a coffee watching my ebay listings get more bids on them :D and being here of course :D
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

:) I've got a Henry, too, yellow one, bringing the total in the wider family to 4 ( 3 yellows and 1 red one). I really like their cheeky little grins.:rotfl:

I have a Henry at work and he gets stuck on the chairs sometimes and when I look back to see why he wont move he's grinning at me, cheeky devil :rotfl:
I keep telling it I will swap him in for a pink one :rotfl: the girls at work think Im nuts because one time I made some glasses for the work one :rotfl: and left a note on it telling the girls when they went in in the morning to leave them on him as he keeps bumping into everything and he needs them :rotfl:

Stayed up to some ungodly hour working on advertising for my new business, so didn't make the early start I'd hoped.

On the positive more filing has happened and I can see my printer :T:T It tends to get all the paperwork dumped on it poor thing.

Off now to see if the laundry is dry and peg out another load. For 3 adults we do go through an awful lot of stuff (does laundry clone itself in the machine? are washing baskets breeding grounds for dirty clothes?) No more procrastinating - sun is shining I will get the laundry done.

Have a good day messies everywhere.
