Hi All
I am a little concerned that there seem to be a few from MK in here - I always thought it stood for Milton Keynes, but it would appear to stand for Mucky Klub - just as well I live here :rotfl:
All the best

I have cleaned all the outsides of my appliances, cupboard doors, and the insides of the small wall cupboard in the kitchen. They were pretty grotty once I started, which considering how much work I have done in there in the last few weeks, is pretty
. I have roped OH into helping me sort out our bedroom after the football later, so that means the work I did on the landing this afternoon will be worthwhile, as I can move the three boxes of paperwork blocking my bedroom doorway and maybe even shut the door tonight :j Easily pleased, me!

Im in Liverpool and its turned cold and raining . Heating is on.
Washing is in the machine, wiped over the sink in the bathroom, cleaned up a lot of cat sick and made sure daughter had a shower.
My mum was forever giving me her cast offs but now its the other way around. A single bed and any other things I can get together whilst she is here will be going back with her. Might even send the kids:p,imagine all the clutter they could take with them.
Iv also been on flea bay. Bought a double bed for son and now watching some ikea childrens storage.0 -
Hi I desperately need to join please?! I'm suffering from severe PND/depression have DD and DS and DH, live in a very small 2 bedroomed house sold as for young professional or olds been here 20 years!! My house is cluttered to the point that I must spend at least 40 mins a day looking for things that are here somewhere.
I have very little energy and motivation my kitchen is such a mess I rarely cook from scratch. We can't eat at the dining room table as it's so cluttered. DH can't access our bed from his side due to so much junk and he has to climb over me, not fun!
My dad visited this week and was most unhelpful with his comments and criticisms. Very scathing and upsetting he doesn't understand how I am feeling and doesn't accept my explanations. He even inferred that Social Services would take my children. I now know that this is not true. DH thinks that I should get off my backside. He's SE and away long hours. I feel guilty as I've had to give up work.
I answer the door with my coat on. "Just got in" if it's my best friend or "just going out,"for anyone else. My Nana taught me that!!:rotfl:
I am inspired by your threads and intend to take babysteps. I sent a car full of kids toys and clothes to my friends house and gave her a bag of toiletries yesterday. The staff at the local childrens centre have come to talk to me this morning after a referral from my health visitor, and take pictures of the offending rooms and are helping me make a plan of action.
My patio of block paving is a jungle of Chelsea prize winning dandelions and after 4 yrs on a waiting list I've finally got a half plot on an allotment. A lovely man has taken it upon himself to clear the plot and build raised beds from my scaffolding boards for a small consideration. Just need to order manure and top soil now and start working it.
I need to de junk and then deep clean/decorate.
Sorry for very long 1st post but I feel after reading 49 pgs of inspirational postings I have found my true forum home!!!:T0 -

Hi all. You are all doing very well I see. And I love the expression I read earlier (sorry, forgotten who said it) where no-housework days were described as 'contemplation' days. Excellent!
Sorry, I've got a headache and am really tired so not going to say much, but just wanted to say well done to all of you and to pass on hugs to those in need.
Take care0 -
