Must be something going about Helen :( my DS complained of a sore throat yesterday and has come home from school sniffing :( he has his sat's too :(

Oh no - I believe she has a sore throat but I think Satsuritus is involved too as she was doing Maths today and tomorrow - least fave subject!! Dosed her up with kiddies paracetamol this morning and will do the same tonight and tomorrow. I'm sure she will make a remarkable recovery for Friday as its non-uniform day lol I sound mean and I'm sure some of it is true but maybe not to the extent she is trying to make me believe hehe

    Hi All

Super tidy, uncluttered, organised - but that is enough about my best friend

I would like to join you, if I may

Today I have cleared the ironing, put another wash load on, tidied the kitchen and cleaned the bathroom and en-suite - off to the gym shortly.

I am a little concerned that there seem to be a few from MK in here - I always thought it stood for Milton Keynes, but it would appear to stand for Mucky Klub - just as well I live here :rotfl:

    All the best

Personally - I refuse to beat myself up for not being all nice and "neat and tidy" as regards housework - as I would simply outsource it if I had the money to. So - at a personal level - I just regard loads of housework and paperwork to catch up with as indicative of the fact that I cant afford to pay anyone else to do them for me - rather than being a sign of "personal laziness" iyswim.

So - why would I beat myself up about being (pretty) poor then? Answer - I wouldnt.

Therefore - I will take it easy on myself that finances dictate that I have to do it all myself and its perfectly understandable that I put "having a life" as higher on my list of priorities.

So - anyway - the thing for today was that I dejunked about 20 pillowcases (ie in a clothes and other fabric recycling Council container) (ie part of the huge stock of "household linen" passed on by my mother). So - I've cleared the decks a bit to make it that little bit easier to see whats what re doing the housework.

I will just content myself for now with having dejunked about 12 handtowels and those 20 odd pillowcases this week and "sold" an item of furniture that was cluttering up my understairs cupboard (via LETS - and wishing I had maybe "charged" a bit more for it - as I've had another "contender" ringing up for it....nevair mind....)- so it will be that little bit easier to "see the wood for the trees" to not have to move quite so many things before I can clean the space occupied by them...

Ah, yes i did take M.K as Milton Keynes. I was looking at the UK map wondering where WS was, now i know :rotfl::rotfl:, thanks for putting me out of my misery :D, and i am still 20 miles south from you in Bedfordshire:). Just as a lucky guess Jackie, you wouldn't be from Glasgow would you? Ok, ok perhaps not such a lucky guess :p:D

Got everything but 1 cupboard done in the kitchen now so i am well pleased.....i might start it tonight but depends how i feel later after the girls (my hens) have gone to bed and i have cleared their mess .

I think my next messy room to accomplish will be my living room, now thats going to be fun as iv'e got loads of stuff in it for ebaying that i have found while decluttering:T

Keep it up fellow messies :T:A.
