    Good Morning

Lovely blowy but sunny day here - love this type of weather as its not too hot so I'm feeling energetic

Ceridwen - thank for the suggestion, I'm ok with eggs that are cooked in a certain way i.e. in cake mixtures, the problem comes from them being poached or boiled and DH and I think its if they are not cooked 110% so if there is any runny yolk then thats what sets off the pains but amazingly FLAT Coke sorts it out - Doctor recommended it and it works - no idea why but I'm not complaining

Greyqueen - thats a shame about the blackboard, its gonna sort me out I hope!!

Ironing was finally finished at 11.45 last night, I put the board etc away and then found a small pile sneakily hidden, never ending job thats thankless!!

I have put some towels in the washing machine along with some dye. Ike@ had towels [white] that are cheap and I don't like fluffy towels so these are perfect, I'm not good with white [can't keep them white] so bought some dye and its the 1st time I've dyed owt so will let you know how I go on with it

Off to do the kiddies rooms now. DD's rug is so full of bits I can't see the colour of it, I'd be asking her to do it but as she is sitting her SAT's this week I'll let her off

Catch up with you all later

    Good morning everyone :D
Im panicing now as I only have today and tomorrow morning to sort some mess out :( then I get my hand op and if it's like last time I will have a stupid big bandage on for 2 weeks (it's like wearing one boxing glove :rotfl:)
I have cleaned the bathroom and done enough shopping to keep my lot fed for the 2 wks I can't drive (I hope) and just having a coffee before tackling the ironing :( Oh I have done 2 loads of washing but it looks like it could rain any mo so not sure if I should put them out :(

It's amazing how given a deadline it makes you get up and run :rotfl: but then no doubt the house will be a mess again by the time the stitches come out :o

Hope everyone has a good day and keep taking them baby steps or just give yourself a day off :rotfl:

Hey everyone, can I join this thread?! I feel that this is just the thing I need to get myself motivated and you all seem like a great friendly, down-to-earth bunch!

Bit of background on me - I'm a care worker, so my working week consists of shift work (no nights thankfully) but I only have 1 weekend off in 4. I live with my boyfriend, he is doing a PHD and seems to be out from 8 in the morning till about 7 in the evening.

Obviously the housework tends to get left till the weekends as we live busy lifestyles, but I'm hoping that this thread will encourage me to do a bit more every day!

    I suppose I should get started! :)

Dinner on. Sausage and bean hotpot for the men and a spicy veggie concoction for me!

I'm glad I procrastinated about doing some washing as we're now having a massive storm-thunder, lightning and torrential rain. The dog's going barmy and the cats have hidden. I daren't go out to check on the chickens as the storm is right above us and I don't fancy being hit by lightning!
