Oh yes please :rotfl:
Managed to dredge some motivation up and hoovered the landing bathroom and study and then swept the hallway.
Laundry on the line and another lot in the machine, now worn out having done some gardening as well.
Rain predicted here this week, so will have no excuse for not getting on with 'indoor things'.jackieglasgow wrote: »Parsniphead, my DS8 and DS11 have both been stripping and remaking their own beds for two years, there is really no excuse for that; his mother and father haven't done him any favours. I would start charging him for maid services. I am serious, dock his pocket money for anything over and above the norm, he should be contributing to the housework, and his father should be putting his foot down if you don't feel able to.
I can't charge him maid services because I refuse to do anything in his room. Plus I would have a whole house of moths to sort out if he ever opened his wallet. To be serious his Dad is way too soft (a real big softy) and I think he is trying to make up for his mum being useless. If I had a pound for everytime I tired to get him to see sense. I agree it's doing him no good, he needs to learn how to look after himself.sock-knitter wrote: »my two 16 year olds have been changing there own bedding for years, and are responsible for there own rooms, there is no way i'm going to do it, why should i they are as capable as me

He doesn't get pocket money. He has VERY mild aspergers so gets DLA.
He does go to college but a PT JOB :rotfl::eek:
Do any of you want a child swap? No!!! It was worth a try.
I tell you one thing I will do anything for my nipper when he finally arrives but he will be taught to do things for himself when he is old enough.
On the good news front I have put away the washing I have done today and Ironed to stuff that needs doing.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

Aspergers is no excuse, my older boy has it, and I feel its even more reason to teach him these things, time to sit down with DH and insist he makes him change his ways before the baby comes. xxxIt's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

I agree. I work with youngsters with Autism and aspergers and know they are capable of achieving anything with help and support (I love my job, I feel very lucky to work with my students). I think his problem is chronic idleitus.
He is certainly going to learn the very hard way when he does leave home, especially because I won't take in washing.;)
Thanks for the support guys.:)1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

Well, I think any thoughts of doing the housework is going to be going out of the window for the next few days. I'm in love! His name is Sebastian and he's our first cockerel.
Click here to meet Sebastian and some of our girls.
He's a Silver Sebright which is a bantam breed, so he's very small. He has a wife who we've named Belle.
It's very sweet the way he shows her tasty morsels to eat. That's what he's doing in the video.
So, I'm going to be sitting outside watching him a lot!
I had planned on getting the bathroom decluttered over the next couple of days, but I can't see that happening now.0 -

Well my plans this morning didn't really happen! I decided to have a nice soak in the bath but got a water logged ear and have been in pain ever since. There doesn't seem to be any water in there now but the pain is still there, so I am hoping it isn't an infection as they can be really painful and I don't have time to go to the doctors!OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

I actually cleaned my kitchen, dining room and downstairs bathroom this weekend! And I mean a proper clean, as in rearranging things in cupboards, moving furniture around for proper dusting! I even did a teeny bit of weeding in the garden. Problem is I'm now too scared to cook in case I mess it up again! I'm also all achy and sore from all that furniture lifting!0
